Password To Log On The CC Network

Disclaimer this suggestion is meant to be implemented/added after the anti-cheat is released. With that in mind let me get started.
My idea is to add a /password command to secure your account and reduce the amount of compromised accounts being used to hack on CCG, but might be an optional thing (it is entirely on CC to decide to make this optional or not)
Why you may be asking? Well so we can drastically reduce the amount of hackers on compromised accounts, & make sure whoever is using the account is actually the owner of it.
Bonus Features :
*Right before you make a password they will ask you to link your account to the forums (optional, will just make it more secure) & give you a suggestion which is to make your password different than the password belonging to your Minecraft Account
*It will tell you not to share your password with anyone
*Before you submit the password they will ask you to add a security question (which should be optional if you really want to be secure) and you insert whatever Question you want with the answer

The reason i said after the Anti-Cheat is released is because many players have been hacked which means many people have access to their Minecraft Username & Password, and could make a random password to make sure no one but the hacker could join or no one at all.

P.s If you join the server it will ask you to type "/password (Password)" to make sure it isn't someone who stole the account and if you get the password written incorrectly you won't be able to join the server until after a certain amount of time OR answer your security question.

EDIT: A bonus feature could be that you can continue as guest to play but if you hack on that account, it will be banned temporarily (only on Your IP, i.e where your account is being used to hack).

I would really like mojang to have more security options for minecraft accounts like 2fa but a /password would be great for the people who get their account stolen on cubecraft ♡ EDIT: how would the anticheat uncompromise those account though? Even with the new anticheat hackers could set passwords to compromised accounts

These banned hackers are gonna try to still get on CC, so, they will hack accounts to do it. I also think linking your forums account would be great!

I actually love this idea, because I know how it feels to be hacked, I hated it lol. (Thankfully they did not get on CubeCraft while hacking) This would stop people from hacking others accounts and getting on the server to hack and get banned.

I do not agree with this because it would be difficult to put password every time when you want to join to the server:p, and I think that this idea will not help much just wait for the anti-cheat is better.:)

This is a brilliant idea!
People who hacked an other Minecraft account will need to fill in this password of the ''owner'' of that account when they join the CubeCraft server (which they don't know, hopefully:p). This will decrease the ''hacked accounts'' on CubeCraft.

When I find something like this on a server I generally just leave because I can't be bothered to remember a new password for one server if I ever leave and try to join again. On other servers it kicks you I feel you don't log in on time and sometimes it takes a while for anything to happen to me because of lag and I get kicked before I logged on.

It doesn't, The reason i said after the anti-cheat is released is so that hackers think they can't hack anymore quickly giving the owner a chance to secure their account.

I do not agree with this because it would be difficult to put password every time when you want to join to the server:p,

when you join the server it will ask you "Please insert Your Password for security reasons, Type "/password" followed by your password. i don't see it being such a difficult thing to do.

I think that this idea will not help much just wait for the anti-cheat is better.:)

Players who don't have a minecraft account or it has been banned will most likely attempt to steal another person's account and use it as their own, nobody wants someone to hack them, this will at least make sure no one is using this account illegally on CC.

Email might be a bit too much, i think just linking it to the forums is enough and if you do forget a forums bot will start a conversation with you copying and pasting your security questions or wants you to prove that it is your account.

all you have to do is /password (Password), trust me it is more annoying to play against hackers and this idea here makes it a little bit annoying but secures the server from hackers

My idea is that it doesn't kick you, it just waits till you fill it in, if you insert the wrong password it would make you wait a bit till you can try again.

What he means is that you would only need to enter the password when you connect with another ip.
