Hello CubeCraft Team :cube_light:

:cube_arrow: I’m a regular player on your server, and I really enjoy your mini-games and the creativity you bring. However, I’ve recently noticed significant lag issues that affect my gameplay experience. I’d like to offer some suggestions that might help improve performance and reduce lag, both for device and internet connection.

:cube_arrow: 1. Limit resource pack usage: The server uses multiple resource packs that, while visually appealing, consume a lot of resources. Perhaps you could reduce their number or size, or provide an option to use more vanilla items for a lighter gameplay experience.

:cube_arrow: 2. Optimize non-vanilla elements: Some of your mini-games use items that aren’t part of the base game (vanilla), which can cause lag. If possible, using vanilla-based alternatives could reduce the load on players’ devices.

:cube_arrow: 3. Improve network connection management: Compared to other servers like The Hive, connection lag seems more frequent. Optimizing your infrastructure might help stabilize the connection for a smoother experience.

Thank you for your hard work and attention to the community. I hope these suggestions can help make CubeCraft even more enjoyable to play  !

And thanks for reading !

Easier said than done

I understand that it might seem difficult, but it's definitely not impossible! Many servers manage to reduce lag by optimizing their resources, and CubeCraft has already proven they can innovate. By reducing the use of resource packs or providing an option for more vanilla-based items, they could significantly lighten the server. It doesn’t require a complete overhaul, but gradual adjustments could really improve the player experience without taking away what makes CubeCraft unique.

With feedback from the community, I’m confident that the CubeCraft team can find effective solutions. After all, improving the gameplay experience is part of their mission, right? :kermitwhat:

Yes, so many people have made threads about this (including me) yet nothing seems to get done (yet, when I play Minecraft offline I still get major lag, anyone know why (is it texture packs)

Thanks for the follow!
Lately I’ve been much less busy irl, so as long as I don’t suddenly accumulate a massive load of homework, I plan on resuming the suggestions I used to make/had in planning hopefully sometime in the next week or so. However, they probably won’t be as often as I used to (for example, I probably won’t release one every day or 2, but one every 3-5 days). See you soon!
