Pets in the waiting lobby for obsidian rankers

Hello Cubecrafters

Many people are nagging for more features for obsidian rankers. I want to suggest you an extra feature for obsidian rankers. Pets in the waiting lobby are always anmazing to have. We have already a miniature for in the lobby. Why not a pet for in the waiting lobby. First of all!: I don't think that it will cause for lag. I will discuss the positive and the negative things of a pet.

Positive:

• Nice to have
• New feature for obsidian rankers
• More ambiance in the waiting lobby?
• It brings people together with animals :p

Negative:

• More lag?
• Not needed

I hope I'm not repeating what someone else said but don't we [ranks] have miniatures? (Not a question, I know we do). Im not against the idea of pets but I hardly see any of the ranks using those. Why add something that people may just ignore.

On the other hand (not meant as advertisement) the server HIVE has pets for ranks that you can ride/fly through the lobby. I think it's kind of cute and may push people to get a rank which would be beneficial to the server.

Since Cube wants to be original they will (very most likely) never add pets in the form of mobs just like a lot of other big servers.
Cubes solution to this was (in my opinion a great 1) miniatures :). Thats right, miniatures are cubes take on pets.

Cube had pet options a year or 2 ago and eventually removed it with a few other gadgets. But back when they did have it I think every rank had it and you had to buy them with points/vanity points, but as I said it was a few years ago and my memory isn't that well. But an option they had was if you wanted an adult or baby, what to name it and I forget the other add on that was with it.

It should also be awesome if u can give ur pets/miniatures a name, it would be fun. (Maybe u can change it every month).

A problem they had with naming the pets was that muted ranks/players were using them to communicate or people were swearing in the names.

But with having both a miniature and a pet they should be added under a tab called something similar to a little friend instead of a miniature section or just a pet section as people having 2 could cause more lag for other players and the server.

And while they're not needed, none of the vanity items are really needed, they're just there to improve the happiness of players and to make game play look better

I personally don't like the pet idea, cubecraft made another awesome 'pet' feature, the miniature.
Pets will ruin the idea of being unique because of that concept.

I've suggested this before, I think.
I think more miniatures for all ranks would be nice. Pets? Hm, not too fond of the idea but I'm staying neutral.

It would be a little messy and even annoying for some users.
For me however I'm ok with it.
Imagine 6 obi rankers in the waiting lobby, all spawning pets....

I actually remember those, not sure why they got removed, but probably because they were buggg, laggy or because cube thought they weren't original enough.

I think it is a cool idea but isn't it weird that you have a miniature and a pet? (the suggestion is cool :cool:)
