There a problem that occur a lot on bedrock servers where a player is using vpn to bypass a ban to hack or to purposely have higher ping than they normally have which let them have an advantage in pvp since higher ping won't let the player take knockback (almost as if they are using anti-knockback hack). Before you say "the server already have a vpn blocker" yes i know, but there are ways to bypass the server current vpn blocker. My suggestion is that the dev can add a ping kicker (kick a player when their ping exceed the amount of 220ms, why at 200ms? well 220ms is where the vpn connection to the server usually sit at)

I hope that staff take this into consideration, not only this will bring equal advantage for all players; it will also prevent the amount of hackers by a lot since they cannot bypass their ban. Thank you.

if this were to be implemented people on lowend devices would effectively be banned from cubecraft for no reason since they would keep getting kicked so i disagree

Heyo!

Something like this was already suggested before here, you should check out everything said there as well since I think it will give you a look at how the community thinks about this. I also welcome you to read my initial response to this, where I tried to outline and show quite a few problems that would arise with using this kind of system.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'm going to have to disagree with this. But since you already have quite a few people that disagree with you, I thought I might as well explain my views on the situation. I might be the only one, who thinks like this, but I would like to think I'm not.
So, I have to agree that playing with laggy people and people with high ping is no fun. I have been there, you have been there, all of us have. Hitting people like this can be really hard, visually it doesn't look nice, people can mistake it for hacking sometimes, all in all, not a pleasant experience. So from this perspective and a perspective of a person who has a good ping and internet connection, your suggestion seems logical.
But now you have to look at this problem from another perspective. From the perspective of a player with a bad connection and poor ping. Why do you come to CubeCraft? You are here to have a good time and play some games probably... And why do they come here? For exactly the same reason. Maybe Cubecraft is that fun place, those fun few hours a week, where they can go, casually play some games and just generally have a good time. They enjoy it as much as you do.
And now, you want to implement a rule/a system, which would effectively ban them from the server (if you have a bad ping you would always get kicked after 5 seconds). Believe me, those kinds of players are having no more fun playing those games with a bad connection. It's not fun for them either, but they try since they like it here. Imagine how you would feel if you got kicked every time you joined because you were too far away from a physical server? Imagine, how bad you would feel, that you can't play just because you were born in the wrong part of the world or you don't have the possibilities (financial or physical) to have a better connection?
I'll simply answer it for you. You will never have to know. But neither will anyone else. And that's because Cube is not about that. They try to help players as much as they can with dedicated servers in different regions, smart matchmaking and generally being acceptive to all (that follow the rules ofc). And we, the players should also follow that and show everyone around us, that we care for them, no matter what.
I'll end off by saying that you might not have had this in mind and you didn't want to hurt players like this, but sadly this is what something like this could bring. And something like this just isn't possible.
Just to add again, I know and realise hackers and VPN users are a problem, but implementing this would hurt too many good people as well...
there 2 types of high ping connection, 1 is vpn which isnt laggy for the player using it and the other is actual bad wifi and it would be laggy for that player so i dont think people with real laggy wifi wouldnt enjoy playing if they lag every second. that just my point of view and i see ur point of view as well
hey! this would mean that people with worse wifi, or a other region without good connection couldnt play.
im going to disagree with this suggestion for this reason!
It would affect even more players than just those using VPN or bad wifi, almost everyone since internet lag spikes can happen for many reasons and are out of their control
And would apply to me too, to some extent, kicking me on random occasions during the afternoon and evening
I have a good internet connection, but as a student living in housing that belong to the campus of my university, random internet lag spikes occur that effectively death freeze the game, for split seconds
From my perspective, this suggestion would not only mean that I might lose a game when it happens during PvP, but randomly die just from walking around 😅
