Posting Videos directly to the Forums

I cant post Videos to any Site ( Yt and so on ) , it doesnt work.

Can we post a Video directly to the Forums? If not...could you consider adding it`?´

I've experienced that uploading a short video to youtube can take several hours, which yeah, can be quite annoying tbh

if being able to post videos straight to the forums was implemented, many more people would be posting hacker reports or just short montages or things they've made on the server

I had that problem as well, it took 2-3 hours per video.

1. Upload overnight, set your Sleep settings to 'Never Sleep' and you can many videos done and ready in the morning.
2. Compress your videos. Instead of uploading the raw footage, use software that cuts some of it, and there is literally no reduction in viewing quality.

Since I wanted to try to make my first spoiler, I'm putting a link to thread that lines out all the steps to doing it. I used Drew McNamee's method, just follow the steps and you're good :)
(No viruses if you install it from the original website, I scanned w Kapersky and Malwarebytes)

We won't be adding this as a feature for the following reasons:
1) Storage is expensive, as it processing videos so that you can view them on all devices (trust me I work for a video production company).
2) We would have to monitor video uploads for copyrighted content and inappropriate content
3) There are a lot of video hosting site you can use
4) It would be no faster to upload a video here than it would be to YouTube.

If you have any counter arguments that are logical please reply.
