Hello, CubeCraft Team!
I understand that criticism can be perceived in different ways, but I hope my message will be taken as an attempt to understand the situation and improve the moderation process.
Recently, I came across this post: Not a good fit for our community, where Capitan explained the reasoning behind the "Not a good fit for our community" ban. However, I have some questions.
For example, why do some players who, have threatened others, doxxed personal information, or even attempted to hack accounts, not receive permanent bans? There have been cases where players repeatedly violated the rules, forged evidence for appeals, and yet continued to remain in the game.
At the same time, if I express my opinion on a stream or react in a way that someone dislikes, I receive a punishment almost immediately. As ItzJuan said:
"As Nathie and Nightmare already mentioned, people who received the 'Unfit for our community' ban misbehaved really badly and thus were punished as they represented a risk to our community’s safety."
If this is truly the case, then why are the pieces of evidence I’ve provided regarding threats towards me and other players being ignored? Why do such violations go unpunished? This seems like selective enforcement, and I would like to understand why that is happening. T
I have also experienced long delays in the review of my safety reports sometimes waiting for months. This raises concerns about the fairness of the moderation system. For example, after my stream where I discussed the issue of drag-clicking, I was banned the next day for something I didn’t even do. Moreover, when I point out a player who is clearly breaking the rules, he may not be banned for months. Sometimes reports take so long to be processed that their "expiration date" expires, which is known to be no more than 14 days. There have been cases where a player has already been unbanned, but my report proving that he was bypassing his ban was not counted because it was expired. As a result, such players escape punishment despite obvious violations. It seems like facts are being ignored and moderation is not providing transparent answers - there are often evasive phrases and it feels like they don't care about the real issues.
So I think it's a bit hypocritical on the part of CubeCraft admins. It seems like the real rule breakers aren't being punished even when they go overboard.
I understand that some people may not like me, but moderation should be objective and treat all players equally. That is the foundation of trust in the community.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I hope to receive some clarification!
