I think he's talking about your visual name in-game... At the moment, nametags have colours which are linked to certain ranks. (Gray: stone, Light blue: Diamond, orange, moderator,...)
I would be against this as certain names would be insanely long and our lobbies would look a lot more messier.

In game, this is already a feature.

I think he meant to show ranks on the tab list, or behind player name tag.

colour code is the point of it in the first place lets say i got a gold rank it says on the added rank bonus page that one of the bonuses is gold name that is what it is also if that was the case why would he say in chat

Well I don't really like it, it's going to be really messy in a game with a lot of people. And I don't know if this sounds like weird but for me it this is saying like: "Oh look I have an Emerald rank and you don't have a rank I'm better" that kind of things and I don't like that

Exactly Cubecraft wants to be unique from other servers that's why the most suggestions with things in it from other servers ,like this, won't be added because then Cubecraft isn't unique anymore
