Ranks: Why get them?

Note: I've already reported the guy. I just want to show a good example why it's not worth getting a rank at the moment in my opinion. No offense to those who have a rank and don't hack--this is just to those who are thinking about getting a rank.

Many of you are stones but a good number of you have a rank. Notice that other donors have broken rules before and end up wasting their precious money? Feel like it's too expensive to get a rank? Then this is for you.

Do you think a rank is worth getting at the moment?

I am not sure why seeing a rank who hacks should make you not want to get a rank. If anything, thank them. They gave money to the server so it can be better, and then you don't gave to deal with them because they will be banned.
I believe it is completely worth it to get a rank. You might not get any huge privledges in game, but your keeping the server running. And you get to look cool while doing it :P

You enjoy your permissions, and cubecraft can stay up and running. Really, it's worth it if you want a bigger friends list, and op items. So to answer your question, it depends on the person, whether they want the permissions, or they are ok to remain a stone rank. Every rank is for a different type of person imo

You enjoy your permissions, and cubecraft can stay up and running. Really, it's worth it if you want a bigger friends list, and op items. So to answer your question, it depends on the person, whether they want the permissions, or they are ok to remain a stone rank. Every rank is for a different type of person imo

I know that the perks are nice to have. I'm also saying that it's a shame and a big waste of money that they bought those ranks and get banned. The money they spent on their rank could've gone to buying a bunch of textbooks or cook months worth of food.

The reason I don't want to get a rank is because I don't want to be associated with those donors who tend to hack and bad-mouth other people. Look at JustRyann. His obsidian rank cost him 250 Euro (as of now about $263 USD) and he got permanently banned, effectively wasting his parents about a month worth of food without any refund.

I fear if something happens to my account, then I'd feel like I could've put my money into something a lot more useful instead of a rank and losing it.

Look at JustRyann. His obsidian rank cost him 250 Euro (as of now about $263 USD) and he got permanently banned, effectively wasting his parents about a month worth of food without any refund.

Though he did give someone else about a month worth of food ;)

Buying a rank basically means you are willing to pay for someone that creates games and stuff and get a bunch of vanity stuff back for it :P

IMO I have no idea what the point of this thread is.
People wasting money on ranks, that's their problem and it's actually written when purchasing.
Plus, voting perks is nice if you like a certain mode or such...

I currently like rank, since I have permission to get a vanity point, able to vote on games, color name, and chat. I don't think you should hate rank just because you met a ranked hacker.
