PermissionsEx is the one I used when I had a server! Try it out, it takes a while to get used to but once you get the hang of it you should be sweet!

You can use /scoreboard to make teams

Lets take you make team Owner

I will try to explain as good as possible

Step 1
Do /scoreboard teams add Owner

Step 2
Give the team the color you want use: /scoreboard teams option Owner color (red)

Step 3
If it is for a server you have to copy your server file and paste it in your minecraft saves folder (how to get to the saves folder : type %appdata% in your search button now click .minecraft click saves and paste the file over there)

Step 4
Search NBTExplorer in google
You will find a download over there. Download the NBTExplorer (it should not give your computer a virus but if so I am not responseble)

Step 5
Open it and select your pasted folder in your saves

Step 6
Go to scoreboard
You will see
-players
-objectives
-teams

Step 7
Click teams and search for team owner click it now

Step 8
Go to prefix and double-click
There will be a small place where is standing: &4 replace this by anything you want as prefix (the prefix is what will be in front of you name you can use color codes) take now we make it &4 [Owner]

Step 9
Press the save icon and
Close you NBTExplorer

Step 10
Copy the world you put in your saves file now paste it in your server file

Step 11
When ingame type /scoreboard team join Owner and your nametag will look like this: [Owner]yourname

Step 12
Like this it took me 20minutes to type

Mapmaker here. While part of that works, some is just incorrect. I would give a proper explanation, but I'm too lazy to type it out. Even if I would do so, it would still be useless on a server. This is just giving the player a prefix and grouping them. Permissions for servers go down to a much deeper level.

Use PermissionsEx
The thread has already been answered a lot of times.
And, no, you’re not giving your opinion or things like that. Completely USELESS post.
Read the WHOLE thread before posting something that has been already said. Or answered.

Only if people read before posting...

I was originally going to cover this news yesterday but didn't do so as it was possible leaked information, until someone else shared it. The CubeCraft League maps for EggWars are great but my question is how many players are the maps designed for? 4v4?
