Re-addition of the Elytra

Hey,

When 1.9 was released, elytra's were available in SkyWars. However they got removed, because they were buggy due to the anti-cheat system.

Elytra's were re-added within the new PvP update last month. I really like the elytra gamemode, so my question is if you guys could also re-add the elytra to EggWars and SkyWars. This would be a great game changer.

Spawn-Rate of the Elytra:

Basic: 0% (Not included in basic chests)
Normal: 5% (Ultra rare)
OP: 40% (Uncommon/rare)

Price of the Elytra

Hardcore: Not available
Normal: 64 Diamonds
OP: 32 Diamonds

I hope you will re-add the elytra! I can't wait to see people fly around the map :D

In Skywars oke, but not in Eggwars. It should make the game too OP. You easly can fly to the middle and get the diamonds and activate your diamond generator. Maybe it only can be spawned in at mid, it's fine for me. :)

Sorry , i disagree. Since it makes the anti cheat bug out then it will be easier for hackers to get away with fly hacks etc. Also , elytras are the most annoying things since people just use them to run away reducing the amoun of pvp and taking away most of the fun. Although it may be fun to play with elytras you get bored of them after a while and they start to get annoying :/

The elytra will cost 64 Diamonds in the shop, while playing normal mode (to prevent it from being too OP)
It will cost 32 Diamonds while playing OP mode.

They fixed the anti-cheat, as I mentioned above.

Also the eltrya forces you to play different, which is a nice game changer imo.

Not really , i wouldnt mind having a gamemode with elytras but i do not want it to be in every single sky wars game. The elytra takes away the fun of the game and reduces the pvp , not like the pvp is good since cubecraft hit detection sucks but, overall the elytra is just a cheap way for people to run away rather than pvp.

It would be a cool addition to SkyWars, but only if it's in center chests, so people can't just take it from their islands and fly over to mid. Also, it's another solution for campers, since you can just fly to them. :D

I agree. This is good against campers in eggwars. You should buy the elytra with diamonds

I agree with @xMegaCoolx in Eggwars it would be way to op. You have a punch bow in EggWars. Punchbow + Elytra = infinite flight. Next thing you know the last person could be thousand of blocks away from you.. Anyways they could end up on a flat world. I don't know if this is still a thing but when I played EggWars 2 months ago, I saw a village on an eggwars map. (Don't remember what particular map)..

Next thing you know the last person could be thousand of blocks away from you.. Anyways they could end up on a flat world. I don't know if this is still a thing but when I played EggWars 2 months ago, I saw a village on an eggwars map. (Don't remember what particular map)..

It would be cool if this could be implemented only in both OP gamemodes. However it would be too easy to build up very high and just fly to someone his/her island and break his/her egg.

So there would be some negatives about this one. I think it's just better that that dont add this. I'm sorry.

I Really don't get why you all are saying "ït's too OP in Eggwars" for normal mode, yes. But the gamemode OP isn't called OP for nothing. Also are you even thinking about the "ender pearl"? Yes yes quit your blabbering about "it's different" it really is NOT since you can easily build a super high bridge and just throw it to their Island. It's basically the same concept IMO.

It too OP for normal and this guy wants it in Normal mode... E-pearls and Elytra is just the best combo for a aerial war machine... XD a flying man with a punch bow and e-pearls I want to do that...

I would like to see this in OP Skywars/Eggwars. But in Eggwars it's basicly the same as an enderpearl, as said above. Because of that, it shouls cost atleast 64 diamonds, as you can simply re-use it. Maybe add like emeralds to the shops for 64 diamonds and make an Elytra 2/3 emeralds, I dunno it's just a suggesyion ;)

I think the fact is, there's an infinite elytra fly hack.

You can't hit yourself with Punch?

You need punch II (which is not in Eggwars) and to be in solo, to be able to hit yourself.
Punch I CAN NOT give you infinite flight.
