While I won't comment on any specific abilities suggested here, keep in mind that our goal with abilities is to add minuscule advantages. We don't want any annoying or OP abilities that make the game unfair and not fun for newer players who have to go up against players with abilities already unlocked.

Just keep that in mind with any ability suggestions :)

i think this is OP maybe to get an extra piece from the villager
2. Ghostly Nightmare
> You have 1/2/3/4/5/6/7% to haunt your attacker (Enderman Sound?). This will only activate when your opponent attacks you using melee weapon.
sounds interesting but how does it work?
3. Mana Tempest (Sword only)
> You have 1/2/3/4/5/5/5% to attack all opponent in 2/2/2/2/2/3/3 blocks near your target. The damage you deal to opponent this way is 50% less than usual.
already a minecraft feature just not all around you but like a 45 degree angle infront of you so this is just a bit OP
4. Shocking Strike (Axe Only)
> When you attack, You have 1/1/2/2/3/3/5% to shock your opponent with the power of Thunder! (No damage from thunder, the opponent will just get hit by lightning or perhaps near the opponent and scare them o3o)
pointless :P unless it freezes them (paralyzes them) for X seconds
5. Lasting Stand
> When you about to die due to melee attack, you have 2/4/6/7/8/9/10% to have 1 heart (1/2 heart icon). This cannot activate until you respawn next time, and this can only occur 1/1/1/2/2/2/3 times in a game.

6. Serrated Sonic
> Your attack have 1/1/2/2/3/3/4% to become a sonic attack! Sonic attack means (1.9 beneficial only lol o3o) you don't need to wait for your next attack! This can only activate when you attack when your weapon are fully charged, and the damage you deal while using sonic attack deals 50% less damage.
so your sword can damage long range?
7. Slippery Slope
> When you die [Up to level 4] 2 x 2, [Up to level 6] 3 x 3, [Level 7] 5 x 5 blocks nearby the place you die become packed ice for 1/1/1/2/2/2/3 seconds!
(Just so you know, Ice slows you down if you have only be on top of it for 1 seconds, and the charge to get faster in that period of time is 2~ Seconds, I think?)

8. Medica
> When you trade with your villager, you have 1% to get [Up to level 3] Regeneration Potion I(2 sec), [Up to level 5], Regeneration Potion II(2 sec), [Up to level 7] Splash Potion of Regen II. (3/4 sec)
you get a potion from buying from the villager? people will just buy things 1 by 1 to get these so no
9. Back Stab
> If you attack an opponent from the back, you have 1/1/1/2/2/2/3% to deal 2 hearts (1 heart icon) of damage that bypass armor .
people will just keep going behind others to kill them faster, so there should be a cooldown then maybe yes (and maybe an ability counter)
Back Stabber :- You have a chance to deal X more damage to the player if hit from the back
Guard Raiser (back stabber's counter) :- may have a chance to reduce damage dealt to the back
archer support is too cheap of an idea
only if it isn't too far away from the enemy it works
blacksmiths touch; so just like mending or different?
you could say a randomized mending (recovers random armor/weapon only if not being attacked) that lasts for a bit and stops
mining would be too difficult
so if it is easy = yes?
angels touch would be too op in any fair fight + it destroys the ability to fight outgeared
i get what you mean but the cooldown nerfs it (unless it is needed to have a longer cooldown)

1> Lol, making it getting extra from a villager will be more op, since you basically buy 64 stacks of stuff and bam, bonus everywhere, and it took at the least 60 seconds with most of the timing giving you a carrot... So meh

6 > No,

8 > Unless you want to waste 100 seconds to get 1 item... Yeah... Nah, they are fine.

9 > At maximum a 3% that would need you to hit 33 times to get a guaranteed up to 1 hearts of icon damage.

I'd quite like to see the triple arrow in eggwars (like in skywars), It would also be nice to have a specific ability for speed boost, not a "random potion effect", specifically a speed boost if you go below (maybe) 5 hearts.

... so basically if you are fighting with no armor and someone hit you with a sharpness II axe you will have 10 hearts gone (5 icon hearts) then you just face them and smack them then they would have 14 hearts gone (7 icon hearts), then hit you again and you get damaged 16 hearts gone (8 icon hearts) then finally the final blow will be 20 hearts gone (10 icon hearts) which would kill you... this ability is a bit too overpowered just saying

Every time u level the ability up it increases the chance
e.g Level 1 Iron gen 5% , Gold gen 3% Diamond gen 1%
(ability refreshes after collecting 5 of the same token you are collecting) ABILITY ONLY WORKS IF THE RESOURCE SPAWNED ON THE GENERATOR

anyway truthfully i read a thread about making diamond generator lvl 4 and a few threads about increasing production speed then thought what if it was an ability and just added it

Would that go through armor? or would armor absorb some of it?
2. Overkill
> When killing an opponent, you have 20/35/50/65/80/95/100% to gain Regeneration II For 3 seconds and Strength I for 2 seconds
Percentages are way too high and you can killfarm some people when taking out a team.
You take out P(player) 1
And you still have to deal with P2 & P3
You continue to kill P1 over and over again so you have a long going strength & regen buff against P2 & P3
Boom, instant unbalanced win.
3. Clutch
> While Shifting, You have 4/8/12/16/20/24/25% to receive no knockback from attacks.
Sneak while being in a bowspam fight = OP win & unfair to newcomers

> When you are attacked, if you have 1/1/2/2/3/3/4 hearts left, you have a chance to get Absorbsion II For 10 seconds (Does not activate again until your HP Has become full again)
Very overpowered & will give newcomers nightmares when trying to clean up.
This could save you from certain death and therefor it's unbalanced to newcomers.

5. Stasis Axe
> Your Axe have 5/10/15/20/25/30/35% to deal double damage to the opponent's Armor durability and gives the opponent Weakness I for 2 seconds.
Weakness? So making debuffer pretty much useless?

6. Pierce Arrow
> Your arrow shot have 1/3/5/7/8/9/10% to destroy Sandstone blocks on impact (GLASS META)
I think you know that this is extremely unfair against newcomers, right?

8. Entrust
> When you die, your nearest ally have 2/4/6/8/10/13/15% to get Regeneration II And Resistance II For 4 seconds.
What if you're defending your island from a team with good gear? Your teammate will get insane buffs to kill them off.

9. Preserve
> When you shot an arrow, you have 1/1/2/3/4/4/5% to receive an arrow (The same one that you shot)
Percentages are good and it's a pretty nice ability.

10. (I am running out of idea) Dispel Strike
> Your attack have 1/1/2/3/4/4/5% to Remove all status effect from your opponent. For each status effect removed, you deal 1/1/2/2/3/3/4 hearts of damage
Too OP against newcomers with enchanted apples.

1. Freeze Tap
> For each second you sprint, you add 1/1/1/1/2/2/2% to get Speed II. Speed II Last for 1/2/3/4/5/6/7 seconds and every time you walk over a block, that block became ice for 3 seconds.. (Ability only active if the % reach 100%)
What? why? This'll let people run their hearts out.

2. Re-Surge
> When your bow pass through your ally or your self, you have 2/4/6/8/10/12/14% to give regeneration I For 4 Seconds.
Bowspam your ally AND target! Instant win!

> Your Sword is binded to you. When you die, your sword stays with you after you respawn. This effect is limited for 1/2/3/4/5/6/7 uses per game. [When you die even without a sword, the effect counts as 1 uses]
Early game rush 3v1's will be rather hard to do with this.

> Your Axe attack have 3/6/9/12/15/18/20% to Move your opponent's Targetted hotbar to random. (Says you have your sword at slot 1, when you got hit, you might automatically move to slot 4)
Doesn't have anything to do with aces & too OP against newcomers


> Your attack reveals your opponent's Weak spot. Your next attack deal 1/1/2/2/3/3/4 more damage. The weapon you use must be fully charged, and Light Strike only activate after a normal attack. [Normal Attack, Light Strike attack, Light Strike effect, Normal Attack >)

It's just a joke,
I mentioned this abillity on the CC discord last week saturday I believe with similar mechanics to this one.
But it's not a rare idea.

I like the idea that it applies an effect, but freeze would be way too annoying (even if it is a low percentage chance). People might blame it on lag rather than the effect and they would be pretty mad about it if they died because of it. Maybe change the effect to blindness, poison or even a rare chance to set enemies on fire?

I like this one a lot, great idea! It would help me out a lot since I usually lay obsidian from the start of each map, so maybe I'm biased : P

Again, good idea. With the low ercentage chances I doubt this would affect the game to much so it's not too OP.

I don't like this one, I think it could spoil some PVP situations a bit. It might mean the difference between life and death for a good pvper with weaker armor (but doesn't have this ability) against a diamond axe spammer with strong armor who has the ability. The better player should win, but this would ruin that imo.

Nah, this would help bowspammers too much. The main disadvantage of a bow is that it can be hard to hit your target - it should stay that way.

I liked the blindness idea for the arrows because there is range between you and the enemy, but I don't like it for this xD If you are blinded in close combat you're as good as dead, even if its only for a second. It's too big of an disadvantage... Maybe change it to a nausea effect or something.

I like this one, it would mean you have to turn and fight in order to survive instead of wussing out and running xD again it might be a little OP, but there's a small chance it will happen so it's all good.

It's nothing fancy, but its a good support ability. I like it. Maybe make the chance higher since it won't affect the game much?

Me likey. I think it could be called something better than 'Hilt Smash' though xD how about 'Killer Instinct'?

This would be very handy. I love the idea, but nerf the regen to level 1 - abilities need to be a slight advantage, nothing major.

Could be confused as Anti-knockback and you'd get hackusated, also could ruin a good lure :c

* Stasis Axe

This would be really useful in OP mode (although I don't play OP much anymore). Good idea!

* Piercing Arrow
> Your arrow shot have 1% (Level 1) to destroy Sandstone blocks on impact (GLASS META)

The chance percentage is way too low. Think about how many times you actually shoot at sandstone - not that many... and if you spam at a sandstone block to try to shoot through it you'd probably run out of arrows before the ability actually worked. On the other hand, if you made the chance higher then this would help campers too much if you tried to bridge across. Soooo this whole ability is a bad idea in my opinon xD

* Entrust
> When you die, your nearest ally have 2% (Level 1) to get Regeneration II And Resistance II For 4 seconds, Team Mode Exclusive ability.

I love this idea, it's like in a film when a dying character says in their last breath ' Go on without me... :'( ' Maybe nerf it as it could ruin PVP a bit. Imagine fighting against an enemy who as regen 2 for four seconds :/

I will use some example numbers so don't take it too seriously
If the ability is at level 1 it will have a 5% chance of recovering half of you health (or a quarter of it) but there is a recharge time of 5 minutes, if you are out numbered (2v1 atleast, Even in solo mode) and get damaged by 2 different players constantly it will become a 10% chance of recovering your health BUT will take twice as long to recharge (10 minutes)

Maybe... but pretty sure spectral arrows counter this meaning just shoot them with a spectral arrow to see them (archer's support may help here!)

What if people cannot receive more than 1 debuff? anyway what if you activated one of the 2 abilities (swordman... & lumberjack..) the other one cannot activate?

these may work, poison might be majorly disliked, blindness could happen, fire sounds good, maybe either weakness or slowness

it isn't that OP so i don't see why not, it is just a +1 resource but the other alternative could be
Lets say someone has the Treasurer ability and was on a Diamond generator. They'd have a % chance of getting an extra diamond or so from it. Completely randomized. Like how on MCMMO you have a chance at getting multiple out of one ore.

Again, good idea. With the low ercentage chances I doubt this would affect the game to much so it's not too OP.

I don't like this one, I think it could spoil some PVP situations a bit. It might mean the difference between life and death for a good pvper with weaker armor (but doesn't have this ability) against a diamond axe spammer with strong armor who has the ability. The better player should win, but this would ruin that imo.
i sad X hearts meaning it could range between 1-10 icon hearts recovered, but i see a maximum should be 4 icon hearts for max level
but i see where you are going with this so until i get major feedback (from multiple people) i won't get rid of it from the main post
Nah, this would help bowspammers too much. The main disadvantage of a bow is that it can be hard to hit your target - it should stay that way.
So you like missing arrow shots that could have reduced the game from 1 hour to 10 minutes (it happened a lot just because i miss 1 arrow they live and camp...), anyway i could simply remove this kit but then again it might have more positives than negatives, so i will keep it for now
I liked the blindness idea for the arrows because there is range between you and the enemy, but I don't like it for this xD If you are blinded in close combat you're as good as dead, even if its only for a second. It's too big of an disadvantage... Maybe change it to a nausea effect or something.

I like this one, it would mean you have to turn and fight in order to survive instead of wussing out and running xD again it might be a little OP, but there's a small chance it will happen so it's all good.
i hate it when they run away :p, anyways the slowness could be for a very short time just enough for you to catch up with them
It's nothing fancy, but its a good support ability. I like it. Maybe make the chance higher since it won't affect the game much?
these % are examples as i do not know how exactly do CC like their %, and anyway it is a little bit OP especially in OP mode because breaking armor is a big thing, that is why i said you have to not be in combat for atleast 5 minutes, and besides pretty sure this ability could be horrible if the duration was much longer, random item + little time is a good nerf

This would be very handy. I love the idea, but nerf the regen to level 1 - abilities need to be a slight advantage, nothing major.
Regen level I? if that is all then okay sure :D
Could be confused as Anti-knockback and you'd get hackusated, also could ruin a good lure :c
didn't think of that meaning all hackers will shift and mods can't tell if it is the ability or is it a hack (unless particles appear just like the feather weight ability)

The chance percentage is way too low. Think about how many times you actually shoot at sandstone - not that many... and if you spam at a sandstone block to try to shoot through it you'd probably run out of arrows before the ability actually worked. On the other hand, if you made the chance higher then this would help campers too much if you tried to bridge across. Soooo this whole ability is a bad idea in my opinon xD
i don't think anyone would shoot nearly 100 arrows just to break one sandstone block :p, they could be smarter than that, the shot could be accidental and break a block that is helpful, on the other hand u may troll teammates by using this ability under them so the fall into the void and die...
Maybe nerf it as it could ruin PVP a bit. Imagine fighting against an enemy who as regen 2 for four seconds :/
isn't that the same as a golden apple? speaking off the teammates could just die near the teammate to give him the effects (maybe some sort of recharge?)
It could be handy against people who pre-gap, but with the amount of arrows you'd have to spam into them just for the ability to work... meh. If anything it might promote bow spamming.
the good thing is it could remove debuffs aswell so it is luck based on which effect gets removed ;), besides all the % are examples CC may change it if they would like

I'm not even going to go through any individually, but these seem like you'd have a huge advantage over newcomers. It'd just be an ability war where people without 'em would lose immediately. Abilities are supposed to be that you have a miniscule advantage, where it's not game-breaking for the other team.
