I'm playing on Switch (literally the laggiest and lowest device to play Minecraft with terrible phones) and I have no problems with cosmetics lag

and people payed for it, why it should be disabled?

there should be an option to turn off bow trails so that people who have no problem with them can leave them on and people who need them disabled can turn them off
