Bedrock Replace stained terracotta in Eggwars with Concrete (building block, not maps)

Edit: Change the terracotta available in eggwars shop to concrete because concrete is a very very very pretty block that stays true to it’s respective colour. It’s a very alive block. Don’t say it’s unnecessary either: All blocks used to be sandstone but were changed to fit more with each team

it’s you who isn’t clear here. I thought the exact same thing with your lack of information put into this thread. It’s quite easy to get the wrong idea by reading only a title and one sentence. An honest mistake though.

As for the suggestion I do admit I like the style of the concrete better than the Terracotta but why change it? Because it looks nicer? The map should take care of the overall scenery already, as using blocks to build defenses and get around the map kinda defiles it anyway. It’s a good idea but I find it unnecessary. I do like the idea of adding a crossbow though. That would be interesting but if this happens it’ll probably be tested out on Java before it makes it to Bedrock.

Now that u explained it in more detail I can definitely see where you’re coming from. The colors are not consistent I do agree on that. It’s been Terra-cotta for awhile on both Bedrock and Java so it would be nice to see a change. I just don’t pay that much attention to detail. Hard to when players are bone rushing you all the time.

First of all, some players don't play on 1.14+ like me, so I don't see why the crossbow needs to be added because we already have bows. And I think concrete is nice but not needed. I think terracotta is okay.

Crossbows work differently from bows and will spice up PvP
There’s no harm in adding them
They have enchants which allow you to shoot through players

I don't want the building block in Eggwars to change. Looks really don't matter that much and I learned to build with that block, adding a new block will confuse me to the fullest.

And that's a good thing? And that will rarely be handy in an Eggwars game, at what moment do players stand perfectly in a row for you?
I'm sorry but I really don't see a good reason to change the blocks and crossbows are really not needed.

Your arguments that crossbows aren’t required is really invalid. A lot of things in eggwars aren’t required, but make the game a better, more dynamic experience nonetheless.

Yes, players do stand in a row. That’s when they’re crossing a bridge. Also, I think the piercing enchant can cut through shield.
