Okay, I got it, but does it affect a lot of people having multiple shuttles? Please keep in mind that some people would like to keep their closed reports to a minimum and if they make a mistake it will be closed depending on the mistake they made.

The problem with this is maybe the evidence is fake and wants to delete it, I think you could edit everything except changing your evidence. This is @lars.l this time a small suggestion about the report site
I regularly encounter a problem at the report site.
If I have a report and I want to edit / delete something, you can not. So I thought it was a good idea to delete / edit reports before they are read.and you can the command /report a link to the report site
let us know what you think of it
Yeah thats rightRight but, as a new player is that going to be your first thought? Or will you think of doing /report?
I was talking about editing/deleting reports. For example, people will make their report before adding the evidence, so that their report will be handled faster. Another way to abuse this is what @QuantumFear_ said (quote below). Are you talking about editing/deleting reports or about an ingame report command?
I don't see how editing/deleting reports could be abused. You could only edit/delete it until a moderator looks at it, obviously. Optionally it could get reopened for editing once it is denied. If you delete a valid report that's not really abusing the system in my opinion and it would be even worse if you just delete the video wasting a moderators time. I have accidentially linked the wrong video once and I didn't even notice until the report was denied because currently you can't even watch your own reports. How can this be abused?
Exactly, although that last bit got me thinking. Maybe it'd be possible to add a comment-option so you could add additional evidence, without editing the main report? I'd like to hear your opinions? The problem with this is maybe the evidence is fake and wants to delete it, I think you could edit everything except changing your evidence.
The system still requires you to link a valid youtube vido, so people would have to link an unrelated video first and then change it to the actual video. I'm not sure if people would actually do that, but it's possible I guess. For example, people will make their report before adding the evidence, so that their report will be handled faster.

You can only edit/delete the report until it is handled. It wouldn't really make sense to remove the fakes evidence before a mod has seen it. Also, if someone reports a player usung faked evidence they can already delete the video from youtube after the report is handled.Exactly, although that last bit got me thinking. I agree that being able to view your own reports could be usefull, I'll forward this. :)Of course having never handled reports I don't know how much time moderators could possibly save If people could edit mistakes in their reports. For me, it would be enough if I could read my own reports so I can make a new one If I made a mistake.
An option to delete a report before it gets handled probably wouldn't hurt but that's mainly to save moderators time so not my problem.
The thing is, we ban people who submit fake reports, so if someone finds this out after he submitted a fake report, he'll delete it and he'll not be punished. Also, if he deletes his video after his report has been handled, he'll still be banned (or muted, if he fakes mute-evidence), because a moderator handled it.You can only edit/delete the report until it is handled. I agree, it's basically the same. No good. The opion to add comments to a report would make it possible to report someone with an unrelated video initially and then add a comment with the actual video, similar to allowing edits. I suppose mods could ban people from the report system for that, but in then an edit function would be more convenient.
It would be nice to have a delete button for unread reports, although i have never ran into this issue. I always double check the information on my reports. This is @lars.l this time a small suggestion about the report site

If reports can only be edited while they are open, they would have to delete the fake evidence before a mod has even seen it. So there wouldn't really be an issue. Also if they want to do that now, they can delete the youtube video at any time, before or after the report was handled. The thing is, we ban people who submit fake reports, so if someone finds this out after he submitted a fake report, he'll delete it and he'll not be punished. You're not getting it. The person who decided to submit a fake report "commited the crime" when they submitted the report, not when a mod handles it. Compare it with someone stealing something in real life. Say they steal a car. Police gets involved and he has to come to court where he'll be sentenced. Just a few days before the big day he returns the car, hoping they'll let him go. That's not how it works of course, he still stole the car. It's a silly comparison, I know, but I hope you get my point :)If reports can only be edited while they are open, they would have to delete the fake evidence before a mod has even seen it. I always make screenshots...You can still just delete the youtube video. Would have pretty much the same result.
It is very easy to delete a youtube video already. And it would be more like someone stealing a car and then returning it before anyone even noticed the car was gone, which is way less severe in my opinion. Of course they can still delete the YouTube video with the current system, but we shouldn't make it easier for them by adding an editing option.
Deleting the evidence after a mod has handled the report won't get him unbanned, I don't know where you get this from.
