Discord Russian general and vc in discord

There is around 1k russian people in the discord and i find it quite discriminating how minor countries are getting their own vcs and russians are not.
Please make a russian vc and general in discord.

I'm not sure where on earth you pulled out the figure of there being 1,000 Russian members on the server as you appeared to have just pulled it out of thin air.

Russian is much much much less spoken on the Discord - just look at the other languages channel. If there really was a significantly large Russian player base, there would be far more russian being spoken there. All languages that have their own channel got them because they were seen to be more spoken in that channel and in the discord in general than all other languages.

oh yeah like there are a lot of turkish people, while russians consist of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Belarus and many other former soviet countries.
And even if russians dont use the channel too much its better to have a general and 1 vc if its too much effort

Sorry, but I have to agree with KitsuneToru. I don't like the idea of making a channel that will hardly be used.

Fair enough making a channel that will be hardly used, but i can guarantee that there will be people there, it would be more rational to say if its not active enough you can take it down

It's not worth the effort of making a whole new category with multiple channels just to take it down because it obviously doesn't have enough activity in it. Setting up an entire new category requires a lot more effort than you think as you need to set up permissions, topics, decide on limits, and would clutter up the server with even more categories when it is essentially guaranteed to just be extremely inactive instantly.
