Hey, thanks for making this suggestion. Seasons have always been something that would awesome to add to CubeCraft. I spoke to you in-game about this suggestion, which then lead to you making this thread, which is awesome. There are some points that I didn't explain completely. Personally how I envisioned Seasons on CubeCraft, is that there would be some form of experience for each of our games (SkyWars, EggWars etc). And if you win a game you get seasonal experience, and if you get a kill, you get more experience, and so forth. The experience would have an algorithm, to give the player the best and most fair outcome for experience.
There would be a leaderboard for the experience, shown on a website and most likely in the lobby as well. There could be rewards for players on the top of the leaderboard at the end of the season. Seasons would last for 1-2 months and would reset at the end of the season. This suggestion says that wins etc should be reset, as other people would agree, resetting current stats is not/never a good idea. The other statistic that would reset at the end of the season, would be the newly added seasonal experience.
I would rather see seasons added into CubeCraft rather than ranked modes. This is because it just adds more time onto a possible development, and could split up the gamemodes and community. Seasons would just adapt into the current gamemodes and would be added into mostly all of them, ranked modes wouldn't be. MinerWare cannot have a ranked mode, but could have Seasons for example. Adding seasons into CubeCraft doesn't come equipped with a negative, it just adds more progressive, motivation and challenges to our games. Adding seasons into CubeCraft wouldn't be the fastest process, but I hope that some form of this suggestion is added in the future :D Thanks!
(I didn't vote as I don't disagree or agree with the suggestion written)
