They fits better and is less offensive
"It" would be offensive to males, females, and others

However they is both grammatically correct and politically correct as they does not necessarily mean multiple despite what the dictionary says

However "he" being used in this form is becoming obsolete

It's not just Minerware. I also prefer "they" rather than "he/she".
