Web Show characters limit

I'm not talking about posting a status post on your own profile ^^
If you comment on your own or someone elses (or post a post on someone else's profile, I'm not sure about that one tho) the characters limit is 420 characters. But the problem is: you can't see when you run out of characters.
Which is very annoying if you have a very long response and you have to cut the answer into different posts so you kind of split up the whole entire thing but it's still to long...
If that makes sense?

Xenforo classes don't allow this unless very big changes are made. This would be a complete waste of time to be fair.
