Skyblock Skyblock expansion in the future?

I'm about three quests away from finishing Skyblock entirely. I know that the End is a work in progress, but after that, does anyone think more islands in the Overworld would be fun? Or would it just be "too much"?

The “End Update” has been sadly and temporarily (not sure for how long) scrapped.
