Builds Skywars map "No Mans Sky"

Hey Guys I'm back!

After my last project "Atomic" I decided to make something different. This time I made a map related to the upcoming PS4 game "No Mans Sky". I really like this game and I'm definitely going to buy it. This game is about finding the center of the Universe and while searching you have millions of randomly generated planets. This is what inspired me. I created the center of the Universe just like the center of the Universe in this game; one big prism. You can find the original picture right here. Then I made 8 different island around it. Each island is unique and has its own theme, just as in the game. Every island contains enough resources to raid other players and/or go to mid. There are 6 chests on each island with stuff in it. I don't know how I'm going to put up the spawns as this can be played with 3/4 people. Someone has to look at that first.

Note: This made is far away from done I just wanted to show my work for now and see what I can do with the feedback.

Lets stop with the boring talks and lets get into the screenshots I made!

Well, it's a good start, but one thing you have to work on is the color palette. I would suggest you to take a look at Undead's building tips.

Island on the third image, right side, needs some more stone variations (andesite, cobblestone..) in order for it to look well with ice. That's just my opinion, of course.

Yes it does but actually it has a purpose. Everything looks very detailed which makes it more realistic. The middle is for a big piece of contrast. Yes it looks simple from the outside, but inside there will be loads of things you can do. @De_Supermarkt (Btw originele naam ;))

Another tip: it's okay if you want the middle to be simple, but terraforming shouldn't look flat no matter what.
Also, I'd recommend you to make custom trees instead of the regular ones. They look a lot better, in my opinion. ;)

Yeah I'm going to change the white wool to a blue'ish kind of color. The thing you circled is just 8 blocks, how can I make a mountain out of that xd. I was thinking the same about the trees, but this was a quick solution for it. I might find some custom made trees on the internet and import them as schematics or something idk yet. Thanks for the feedback!

Small update. I changed the trees to more natural looking trees and I changed the colors of mid.

You can do it yourself, but I'm sure they don't mind even if someone doesn't place them, since it's not really hard to place a couple pieces of glass.
