Hello my dudes!
My first time writing a post actually on the Cube forum!

Skywars is all fun and its good to play with your friends too, but...
Skywars is missing something. The variations of people playing online is big which is good but also bad.
People with less skill in Minecraft PVP have a hard live here on Cube, "Pro's" are beating them easily.
Thats why we maybe need a new gamemode. People who are new and doesn't have any knowledge about the game,
"Pro's" who need more adventure and more challenges and for people who are just searching for something new.

Skywars RANKED!

It's a simple and a good idea!
Players playing here at Cube are already waiting for this to happen.
Look at all the things people can do since there would be Ranked!
People can PVP with people with the same "Skills"
People who are just beginning with their first time can just play a normal game or even try their first game of Ranked!
Together the people can play with people they match with.
With 10 matches to play to seek what rank you fit in!
People can challenge themselves to do good and go a rank up! Something to try for!
*With a minimal lobby-level to play to reduce hackers in ranked.

Skywars doesn't have to change to ranked itself, but people should be able to play with a chance.
People want to challenge themselves to be better, but can people challenge themselves at this state?
So please people, just think about it. It isn't bad. It has a bright side for everyone!

I think that can be done with some changes.Lvl 25 requirement(because who wants cheaters),and maybe rewards from positions on leaderboard for the season or something like that.Many people have suggested ranked Skywars here but nothing ever escalated.I hope that’s the thread which will ,,win”

Great suggestion, I totally agree. But there's one little problem: this gamemode would be dead after a month. There are simply too less players to make this function. There would be a 5 minute queue. Ofcourse there could be a test version. And if you make it 2v2 instead of 4v4, the queue's wouldn't be 5 minutes, but 4v4's are more fun than 2v2's imo.

But I would really like to see this. This is the only thing I miss in SkyWars on CubeCraft atm.

Yeah that would be fun!
Same counts for other games like lucky islands or minerware.
It would be nice for cubecraft to add elo and ranks for the amount games you win.
Every win or kill gives you elo/exp to get you to the next rank.
A rank could be a symbol which is colored or whatever.
I don't think it should have a level requirement since this will make qeues very long

If there is no level requirement, hackers are going to invade ranked..

We need way more players on the server for that, but I would not be surprised if it reached more players than parkour. It's like speed eggwars it had players but not that many and because of that it got removed

Currently I am the top 145 (2831 Wins) of skywars solo and I didn't start being a "pro".
I think this shouldn't be added but still the idea is not bad!

I know that u can easily play a pro by being smart, but it's hard to directly PVP with them.
I started like 4 years ago too and it was fun because everyone was just experimenting how the game worked. but after i stopped playing minecraft and when minecraft started dying the game was evolved. When i came back (couple years after) It was really hard for me to compete with those "Pro's" so i just know that being not that good isn't a bad thing since u can just play, but it will not always give new players enough excitement to play tomorrow again you see?

In my opinion I don't think this should be added, after all the grace of skywars is there, see who's last.

This also depends a lot on the map since for example Field is great for PvP but bad to push in the void. Tron is bad for PvP and good for push

It would need to ban you from lower lobbies dependent on you stats, or make the exp and point reward much less for lower lobbies, and much more for higher lobbies, for this to work at all.

A lot of people have suggested this in the past and the community always seems to be split in this. I’m my opinion it would be a great idea, because a game of only people that are experienced should be pretty hard and very fun.

Now should this be done? It’s kinda risky to split skywars players in various “ranks” or “tiers” are there enough?

Exactly, as long as they do it right so we don't have some skilled players griefing new players.

First I wanted to say yes, but CubeCraft isn't really a competitive server, and it's not populair enough anymore to have those amount of people who are going to play this.
