Last week, I was playing on SkyWars and someone shot me with an arrow while I was bridging. But instead of falling off, I received the levitation effect. I honestly thought that this was a great idea, it gave the game a twist to it, making it slightly, but still different than other servers that have SkyWars. Sadly, later that day, it got removed. I don't know why it was removed (probably because it was a bug), but it was the coolest thing that I have seen.
My suggestion is about adding this feature back into the game. Just like it was, when you get hit with an arrow, you receive levitation for 7 seconds, but here's the thing, if you get hit with a snowball or an egg, your levitation will disappear, making you fall into the void or hit the ground and lose an immense amount of health (depending on how high you were). Eggs and snowballs won't get rid of any other effect (i.e. regeneration and absorption from golden apples) and will still act like what they currently are right now (projectiles capable of knocking opponents into the void).
There are some downfalls though. People can use the bows and arrows to rush people early on in the game if they get the two items in their chests, so instead of that, bows and arrows (or one of the two) can be harder to find, just how its hard to get a Sharpness II Iron Sword in the chest that your island originally offered, and can be more easily found if you go to the middle.
Originally, I thought this made SkyWars games more fun and enjoyable to play because it gave a twist to it and it made games faster. When people had bows and arrows, games usually lasted about 2 - 3 minutes, not 4 - 6 minutes like they are now. This was because of how people came up with strategies that made the game easier and faster, like shooting your self and flying to other opponents island and making a surprise attack, or shooting others while they were bridging and continuing to shoot them until they were high enough that they would fall to the ground and die.
All in all, adding levitation arrows back to SkyWars is a great idea, it makes the game unique and makes you have to check and do things that you wouldn't have to do in SkyWars as of now. It encourages people to try new strategies and think of different ways on how to get the advantage in the game, thanks for reading!
