Map Atlantis

Hey there, after a bit of time i took all the feedback you guys gave me on the first submission of this map i made and tried to implement them. The 2 main points i wanted to address with these changes are:

- The used colour pallet was not quite fitting, so i changed it up to make a smoother colour transition
- The spacing between the individual islands was a bit too small

--> To change the colour palette used, I swapped the dirt, sand and coarse dirt to concrete blocks fitting the colour of the prismarin.
--> To change the spacing, i moved each individual island further out and added a sub-middle island designed like a wave to create more of a water vibe

This is a great map, but perhaps you should space each island farther away from each other. Additionally, The islands would look better if they had more under them (so that they look like islands and not floating platforms.)

They bottom of the islands are lacking and the spawn islands don’t really have anything special.

The main islands are extremely basic and don't look that good. The space on the island is way too small for combat and or when you get structures from drops. The tree does not look very very basic. Mid looks like a mess, with all the random things there plus the color pallet. Also a very small space and not ideal for combat. The islands also need more under the base platform so it's not just a floating platform.

It looks ok but needs a lot of work.

I'd say maybe due some things in the map that could be changed.
First of all, the trees on the starter island are really basic and a bit boring if you ask me
try to make them a bit bigger and change up some leaves for details.
The starter islands are looking really basic as well, I'd suggest painting the islands with GoPaint or using splatter brushes (//brush splatter [ID's])
it creates smoother transitions when it comes to coloring your island.
I really like the layout of the map, it looks really nice and clean although I think the islands are a bit close to the sub-middle islands, try to paste them a bit further away.
Overall great map but I'd like to see some changes.

Hello, thank you for your efforts in submitting this.

Unfortunately, collectively the design team have decided to deny this map submission due to the following reasons:
-Semi mid is only 1 thick, this would cause gameplay issues with explosive times.
-Map Texturing

On a positive note, it's a pretty map with a change of layout. I can really see the time you spent on the map, good job!
