Would you like a Solo tower defence mode? (1v1)

Hey i just thought about a new game mode for Tower Defence.
It would be fun if you have solo tower defence so you can 1v1 your friend.
Me and my friend MCforDummies think this is a good idea to add.
It would be awsome.
Let me know what you guys think of this idea.

Even though I only play Tower Defence with FluffyRoses, I don't think there should be a solo game mode, there's still too many people that don't know how to play it at all, maybe I'll change my opinion about this when the tutorial is mandatory.

That is also why you can do you tutorial + pratice tactics with your friends in solo, Or just have fun and trying to see who has the best tactic.

Easiest way is just to make the tutorial mandatory. Like, you CAN'T play if you haven't done the tutorial first. I think this was escalated in another thread, but don't quote me on that one.

And i also just mean it like a new gamemode to 1v1 your friends.
See who's the best and thinking of new tactics to play the game without ruining it for your team.
It would be fun to just 1v1 with your friends or random players.

Would love to see a 2v2 than a 1v1, the combos you can do with your team are very variated. For example, in a 1v1 would be only sending magma cubes (As example, it can be any other monster) but in a 2v2 it could do magma cubes+witches, or even more magma cubes. As the defense, it's not the same having to pay all the defense yourself than being helped by a team. I'd rather prefer to see a 2v2 than a 1v1. However this is my opinion

It can be a 1v1, 2v2, 3v3.
I just thought of having a 1v1 but a 2v2/3v3 is also possible.
Just so you have less people in your team and that you can battle your friends.

Thats 100% true.
But we can also have that the towers cost less or that you get monney quicker.
We can also change that when you send slimes you can also send witches for a lower price.
Its just experimenting and see whats a better thing to do.
But sure a 2v2 is also possible that would also be fun.

I definitly support this idea. The current problem I have personally with Tower Defence is my team.
Every single game, no matter if I have 2 or 5 team mates, once of these things is guaranteed to happen:

- People not understanding how to place towers, causing them to take up 4 spots with a single tower
- People building Mage / Ice Towers way too close to each other
- People building the Poison Tower with the infinite poison path, whilst there is already one built by someone
- People do not pick a path, wich means you are stuck with LVL 1 Archer Towers, LVL 2 Artillery Towers, etc
- People choose differents path that you would not have prefered. (example, they choose the cheap archer path when the explosive arrows path is more expensive but much more powerfull).
- People that just didn't bother playing the Tutorial
- People claiming spots with Archer Towers so they can have the 5x5 spots for themselfs.
- People that spam towers on purpose wich blocks your options to build defences.

And the problem does not just end with the actions your team decides to do, other problems are:

- People acting as if they are in charge, giving everybody orders as if they have to follow every command
- People that start to insult you because you don't agree with their decision or they do not agree with your decision
- People not talking or communicating at all with their team
- People wasting money by throwing Inferno potions on LVL 5 Skeletons when those do not effect them.
- People spamclick the mobs, rather saving up money to build reinforcements at the end

There are just so many thins that annoy me when I try to play Tower Defence, simply because of my team most of the time.
I more than definitly support a 1V1 option since this gives you an option to make all of the decisions yourself. All of the problems listed above won't be a problem anymore since you can now use your own common sence without having to hope to get a decent team every time you join a game.

TBH i also really think the tutorial needs to be done.
When you join the first game of tower defence you get the tutorial instant and than afther the tutorial drop you in your first game.

And i also think the tutorial needs to be a bigger tutorial that only 1 build tower (archer, 3x3 tower) and also add the bigger towers like necromancer (5x5 towers).
I think the tutorial is also to small and that also needs to be changed.
But i thought about the 1v1 idea for 2 reasons:
1. You can learn with your friends how to play the game.
2. You can think of new strategies and do a strategie vs strategie.

I also fully understand the annoying part.
I will make a new suggestion about the tutorial of tower defence.

When I think of a TD Solo Mode I think of levels and automatic mobs sent and you place towers to defend yourself. If you surrvive the boss you win. If your castel is blown up you lose. This is also interesting. I would not like 1v1's though. 4v4's at the least. But not 1 on 1.

Unless in 1v1s everything is super cheap what youll have is a superheated race to see who can throw out stuff the fastest by the time the boss round arrives one of you is not prepared making it both way to easy and way to hard to win thus one side plays defence the other plays offense, its to unbalanced

That was also my meaning if it would get released to be like 1/4 the pricing for towers and the mobs the same price

I prefer it as a team game. I think defeding + attacking your castle and your opponent is too much at the same time.
I see what you mean. But just playing with your friends 1v1ing with low priced towers (1/4 the price as in the normal gamemode) is not so hard. You can focus on sending while still being able to place towers. I dont think this would be a problem if we change the prices.
