Some things seriously need to be changed about the value of Ranks

Heyo,
I'm here to talk about a thing that has quite a discussion, the value you receive out of Ranks, and especially Emerald / Obsidian as it's ridiculous what you get in return. Hell if I could get just 25% of my money back RIGHT NOW I'd do it, I have no idea what was going through my mind when I thought buying Obsidian was a good idea. It was a giant waste of money I could've used for tons of other tings.

Let's start comparing Cube's Ranks...

Here we have the store of Cubecraft:

As you can see, yes there are neat little features, although the higher the ranks go, the less you get.
I mean the most expensive Rank out there is currently about 160EUR and you get like what, 52+ cosmetics?

I mean seriously if you want a lot of things Gold / Diamond has it all and Emerald+ becomes a giant waste of money for people.

Now let's just take a very small peek at another very known server' shop.

That's right, Cube offers about 52+ things for 160EUR and this server offers 299 COSMETICS FOR ONLY 26EUR
And I have not mentioned things outside of just the cosmetics. Just take a look what it offers, it literally is the best deal as it's actually worth spending money on while Cubecraft offers about everything in their 3rd/4th Rank.

No, I'm not suggesting to lower the prizes as I know Joehenry once mentioned due to some reasons I forgot and don't care about, they simply cannot change the rank prizes. All I beg you, is to make your money worth it. Here you pay 160EUR for:
- Colored Name
- Colored Chat
- Fly
- Map Selection
- 100 Friend Slots
- 15 Party Slots
- 52+ Cosmetics
- Voting Options for various games

Now let's take a look at everything you can get at the other server for just 26EUR:
- Colored Name
- Fly
- Map Selection exclusive to the highest Rank
- Create Guilds
- SkyWars / BedWars / MurderMystery Map Selector
- A pet exclusive to VIP+ and above, although Miniatures are the only thing that beats this server.
- Particle Pack
- Ride Control Pets
- Punch Staff
- A Game-exclusive feature
- 14 Exclusive Gadgets
- Being able to open 5* Mystery Boxes (simular to a Mythical Cubelet)
- 299 FREAKING COSMETICS AGAIN JUST 26 EUR
- Actual Forums bonusses

You see this entire shopping list of features? A huge amount of these are only available for the most expensive one, while Cube offers about 2x or 3x less for 6-7x as much money.

This needs to change, the Ranks here are close to being a waste of money and I regret every cent I spent on mine...

I mean seriously it's so easy to actually add more things!
- You can Forums stuff that have been requested for too long.
- You can add a huge amount of gadgets, who cares if it's just a Chicken pooping eggs for 5 seconds and then explode, that's one I came up with in 2 seconds!
- Add a Map Selector item in your INVENTORY so you can actually play much faster again.
- Allow Donators to claim Cubelets instead of Vanity Points, they start stacking up at some point making the rewards useless while getting Cubelets is way harder, especially that one Mythical Item you'd like.
- A Miniature of yourself (idk who suggested that previously).
- More cosmetics in general, such as new cages, armor, more win effects, more trials.
- Oh, remember when we all thought shields were actually going to be added some day : ')
lmao like seriously how long is it ''comming soon'' by now.

Come on, look at all of that I just came up with in 5 minutes, stop trying to be ''original'' and start adding content making it worth your money.

Cubecraft should definitely add new features for the Obsidian rank, however they have already been trying to give Obsidian some new features. In arcade, for example, they have made voting options exclusive to only Obsidian Rank.

I would definitely like to see some new forum features. Could definitely make browsing around the forums more enjoyable.

You need to remember, though, that you are buying the rank to support the server. They give you a 'thank you' reward for supporting the server.

Like 1/10 people care about supporting the server, they just get Gold+ to vote OP in EggWars pretty much.

I agree with @TheJeroen on this suggestion as the Emerald and Obsidian ranks are way to expensive in my opinion. I understand that they are here to support the server but they are again really expensive. As suggested if you upgrade from Emerald to Obsidian you get only a little better vanity items along with a larger friends list. I don't think it is worth 70 USD just for this little bit of extra vanity. +1 from me on this suggestion

+1 adding stuff to the Emerald / Obsidian rank would be nice for people who pay that much money for it. One reason these ranks are expensive is because on this store the only thing there is to buy is 3 boosters, 2 types of miniature packs, and these ranks. On the server you said ranks were cheaper, they have 10+ boosters, 5+ types of mystery boxes, 10+ companions (miniatures), loot chests, and gifts. There are way more stuff to buy on that server, which is the main reason they have much cheaper ranks.

Agreed.
Although I think instead of focusing on the diamond+ ranks their exclusive cosmetics I think the majority of new cosmetics coming to the server need to be buyable via vanity points. That way the lower ranked people don't feel left out and stone ranks can just buy x amount of vanitypoints so they can get that 1 win effect they really want.

As far as higher ranks their perks. I think that number will increase in the next skywars update which will most likely (according to the threads by @Efcluke94) contain some more gamemodes to choose from.

Yeah, right i don't know to what was going through my mind to ...... I think CubeCraft need to change it, very much players going to leave cubecraft of the prices of rank we need to change it ! @Tacosbefriends @CrazymanJR

On top of the (at least IMO) moronic VAT system, cubecraft probably has a different rationale behind ranks than this other said server. What you conveniently failed to show is the rest of each server's store. I'll do a more comprehensive comparison below, I'm not too familiar with euros but I'll use it as the currency because it's what the OP Used and I want to be consistent. Also the "normal" price will be without any sales. Other than the ranks, these shops include:

Cubecraft:

- Has 3 point multiplier options (boosters are the equivalent on the other server) which have a normal price of between 13.60 and 22.68 EUR.
- Has 2 options for buying miniatures (companions are the equivalent on the other server) which have a normal price of 7.03 EUR for a pack of 3

And that's it.

The other server has:

- Boosters which range from 5.24 to 13.12 EUR
- Individual companions which range from 3.49 to 8.74 EUR.
Now here come some buyable options that don't exist at all on cubecraft's shop:
- Mystery boxes (a lot like cubelets) which cost between 5.24 and 35.00 EUR for limited time summer boxes. These come in packs of 10, 20, or 50 depending on price.
- loot chests which cost between 7.86 and 30.63 EUR.
- gifts (which are basically mystery boxes you give to other players) that are priced the same as mystery boxes.

What does that mean? It means that cubecraft has to rely much more on ranks for revenue than the other server, and that's why the prices have to be high. The other server here has lots of buyable options on top of ranks, but cubecraft has little, meaning that cubecraft's shop has to make the most out of selling ranks. Now you run into a catch 22 of ranks being expensive and worth buying, but not having the money to pay a developer to make new features for a rank to make it worth buying. I'm sure if cubecraft could just magically give more to obsidian rank, they would. Cubecraft has a limited amount of resources, and making more stuff for ranks would mean less resources being put into games or Sentinel or updates for games or whatever projects they are currently working on.
