Hey Everyone !
Thats not a really uncommon thread's title but thats normal, i don't want my second thread to be normal.
I've seen plenty of people here explaining how they loved and love cubecraft, its minigames, its trivia..
I also know that those types of threads usually appears when we have a lot of experience in a place. That's not totally my case. But those last months, something wonderful happened in my life, I wanted to tell you what, and to thanks people without who i maybe wouldn't have stayed there.
That would finally be a real mistake from me to have to follow a strict path for an uncommon "introduction" thread, i want you all to feel how I have Cubecraft and its whole community inside me !
Cubecraft. Know that serv since years, maybe 5 years. I know they won't be there reading my thread, but thanks a lot Oxilac and Furious Jumper, two french mc youtubers i followed, to showed me how the Lucky Islands was a really funny game I had to try. Thanks also all my old Discord friends with who i did so many games (of LI of course :) ) before feeling something new about our serv.
Its because of those person I gain the deep wish to join the Cubecraft Translation Team with, you know, in game messages ;)
If I did that first, it was maybe "just" to help Cubecraft develop a real french community thanks to high quality translations, but I then discover how important was that french job important :
By checking some old french translations, i found them really unfinished and unverified ;)
Thats why I wanted to become a full actor of that french team, and why i finally get that place of proofreader.
But Cubecraft, on its Discord servers, still, like a lot of Dc servers, a wonderful place to meet people, to improve some skills, to have fun, to make other smile, to help people.
I'm somebody really used to be active on Discors because of a truely bad irl social life, for maybe all along my school years. Its why my only dream, all along that so many different servers I knew on dc, so many different communities, was simply to make at least other people happy and to give them the smile they need everyday to be able to overpass all their hard daily life.
And you know what ? (Even if many people already know that thats not the casd of everyone)
I feel way less good than before. My mind is getting everyday tired of all the motivation i use to try to be social irl, and thats unfortunately impacting my whole discord social links. Weird ? Ye ^^"
I guess that people on that wonderful Translation Team are as curious with new people than me, 'cause I did not have a lot of problems to meet u all, or to meet anybody else on Cubecraft !
I'm very happy that could lead me to enter the mentor team for a while, and to continue resolve problems or trying develop new tools for our community ;)
Anyway, here was hard paragraphs to write for me 'cause some people know how it can impact me to send the least smallest sms or discord dm sometimes, and 'cause I would that thread to be read by as many people who wants to read a happy story about our serv ^^' i so already thanks everybody of you to read that thread to here, because I want that posts to be also another way to help other people who needs social help too in that amazingly nice social network which is Discord !
I have to admit that there will be surely a lot of things I would initially say here that I will have surely forgot because I am a champion of organise things to make sure I... will forgot them well ^^' but anyway, before thanks special men and women for me from Cubecraft, I wanted to make you the promess to try to have the best french team ever for the translations of a MC serv, and to make as well Cubecraft way way more famous in French than the (low) level he currently have, unfortunately :/ ;)
Soo i want to thanks first that list of person of the Translation Team that really matter for me and with who I want to live so many things more :
- The very first people I met on the serv was, of course, my old mentor, @RickDeKlomp ! That man gave me so many details about why I should so love that lovely serv which is Cubecraft, really dude thanks you, I wouldn't have dreamed to be accepted on that team from a better person than you ! Thanks you too for having offered me the possibility to be mentor ^^
- Then, of course, @Elenahh . Elenahh, you are leading a amazing big moving team as perfection for your age. You are so open-minded compared to other leaders I could worked with, and so care about people with problems. You are the best person for this place. You are also showing that a woman can have the right skills to lead a team like this ! Thanks !
- @pleasemami , that's your turn ;) For train my English af to be able to meet new friends in my Soith Korea study year, there couldn't be better dude. I know you since the first days i arrived on the serv, I remember I met you 'cause i would help you resolve a sad problem ;)
You are always really nice and really open to play (even I can't be always connected ;) but of course here enough to help with french homeworks haha), and with @xylie, ye, we were a really nice trio !
- @S4nne now. You're wonderful. Life may be difficult sometimes, but I always see a lot of motivation and happiness in you in our dm, and I want you to be eternally happy and successful in your dreams, as far as you're always trying to help me ^^ That's the same thing I would told you @Romados, take care of Sanne I'm sure she's really happy with you ! Tks to exist you too ;)
- @Eli :) you're for me the best coordinator if I can still call you like this ^^ you're really nice, always jokeman in dm, always helpful for the Team ! Idk if I already told you that, but one old manager I knew from another community serv where I was manager too was also called Elivat, but he was the countrary of you. Not active, not friendly. Please never change and stay a wonderful coordinator ! Tks by the way for the help you could brought to my brother ^^
I would also btw thanks Corin because since I know her and the storys I had with her about mentor team, I'm sure now she's gonna become a really coordinator on that team ! I really remember when we began mentor in almost the same day ^^
- @pigglet Hello :) i'm sure you're wondering why you are on that thread 'cause i may don't know you a lot, but you're quite always part of some funny moments in the Team, and I really appreciate the fun you're giving me everyday ;) of course i'm always ready for a new game of Smash :p ;) that is for everybody ^^ (PS : ur gonna be a day dutch proofreader don't worry @King_Reno and @Froq will always be here, and me too btw ;p)
- @FocusTurtle OMG dude how could somebody like u couldn't be in my special thanks list ^^ you're just making so lively the whole serv everyday with so many jokes or just by being yourself ! You're wonderful, and really, CONGRATS for your proofreader rank ^^
- and finally, @Hoshiakari . I think that you have in my mind the same place that can have Sanne or Romados. You're a really smart and sweet girl, really open-minded and helpful, with a golden heart. I can't again can't enough thank you for the daily help you are bringing me ^^ X)
That list is maybe finished, but keep in mind that I have a lot of other friends I could also talk about here, so don't feel sad please :/ ^^" @jelliobean, @Headqche, @Livvv... ^^
