Java Survival Games is Needed

I went on CubeCraft yesterday and I saw that the new featured game was "Survival Games", I thought "I might as well play a few games since I haven't played it in years", and then it got to me, this needs to be a official game mode that doesn't disapear after a day or two.

In my opinion Survival Games is one of the game modes that are OG, and there almost isn't any servers that has them anymore. I think that a lot of players would love to have Survival Games as a Constant Gamemode on CubeCraft. Right now there's only solo Survival Games in the featured game section. If CubeCraft decided to actually make this a constant game, it would be really nice if you could add Team Survival Games aswell. The amount of members on one team I think would be good for Survival Games is 2 and 3.

I don't really play survival games, and of the 5.000 people who are online at the moment there are only 90 playing survival games. So I think that if this will be an official game, there are not enough players. Cubecraft made the featured game because there where many games on cubecraft that nobody plays, if they are going to bring back all the games they will have the same problem.

It simply does not pull enough players to get re-added at this time. It's the reason it was removed, it doesn't matter if it's OG if it doesn't get players.

SG was my favorite gamemode on cube for a long time. The Vampire kit tanked teams easily and was a lot of fun. I'd like to see it back but do also understand it doesn't attract enough players to be a viable fixed gamemode.

I am totally aware of the amount of people playing. If you think about it, the featured games aren't available more than 2 days (I think). So that might be a reason. People don't want to spend their time improving and buying kits etc on a game that will dissapear in hours.

That could be the problem, but I think that if we bring back all the old games there will be the same problem. I know you only want to bring back survival games, but there are other players who want to bring back other games, so I don't know if it is fair to only bring back survival games. If we bring back all games, there will not be enough players to play all the games.

I personally think it gets plenty of players, solo SG was just hitting nearly 180 players which is the same if not more than what Minerware currently gets as a permanent game, I've also seen it reach up to 240 players at peak times. Baring in mind, this is just with the game being on the server for 2 days at a time every so often so it doesn't get the opportunity to properly grow a community. With so many games being island-based, SG also breaks up the structure a bit, its still pvp but enjoyable when don't dont want to have to worry about bridging and being knocked into a void which I find tiring sometimes.
I'm not sure how I would feel about having Solo and Team SG on the server at the same time though, I believe that this became a problem when they were permanent games before, it divided the community into smaller groups.

I would love to see survival games for both 1.8 and 1.9+. It was one of my favourite gamemodes back in the days.

I am totally aware that it didn't attract enough players before, but that was multiple years ago, time has probably changed and it will attract even more players if you add SG teams aswell.

To be honest, survival games is so uverused like it is not very creative or unique since almost all the servers have it or tried to have it on their network. I used to like Survival Games but now it is just kind of boring to me, probably because the game is almost older than the wise old grumpy cat but that doesn't take away that cubecraft could make a nice game from this so it will really depend on cube's moves and if the players will like it.
