Hey DaveyDa

As you see in the video down below, i had full food bar and i still didn't regen. Even with the potion it didn't work.

I believe you were playing hardcore mode which stops you from regenerating.

Yes. Hardcore is a health option I believe. You vote seperately for chest items.
