Sword or Axe?

yes that is true but i just pvp better with axes because while it's cooling down i "Strafe" and then hit.

I like the sword as I can chain combos, I use the axe as well for the first hit and when the opponent turns to run or is eating.

Though the axe does more damage I like the sword better because it can hit farther and it has a faster cool down then the axe.

Yah it does more danger but the cool down is slower, so it kind of evens out. Aside from that it also costs more.

I prefer the axe because it makes a lot of damage, but the sword is faster but does not do much as the axe
also it depends on your skill in pvp 1.9

yeah and my skill is just better with an axe mainly because while it's cooling down i dodge attacks and then hit because of the cooldown it gives yo some space to move around instead of 2 ppl hitting each other back and forward

I prefer using a sword, because it's faster. I find it easier.
But, for example in Eggwars, I buy a sword and an axe. But why?
If I'm in a PvP-battle and the other player is near death and runs away, I hit him with my axe. That gives more damage than. :)

But I'd rather fight with a sword. :P

i thought that after the 1.9 update when they gave the axe more damage a lot of ppl would start using the axe.. a lot of my friends also did.. but after like a few weeks after the update they all switched to using the sword instead of the axe and this post also shows a little that many people still prefer the sword...

Indeed they do they have no cooldown at all so you can spam click with a pickaxe or basically you can do 1.8 pvp with one very effective against op leather in op eggwars
