The New Rant

The new rant about the new chat update is crazy. Its almost like the new 1.8 rant. I have seen with the time since the update was realized, the amount of players giving down votes and saying they want to old system. I want the old system back too, not that I swear, but because I like the format it was before.
I suggest that the cubecraft developers just switch it back before this rant gets any bigger?
Im not saying a rant is bad, im just saying that because the amount of up votes, there should be a return of the old chat :)

I put a poll to show how many players want the old chat back.

It would be so embarrassing if everyone says no xD

We should rename suggestions to "rants" because that's the majority of what it is now. I kinda disliked the chat update when it first came out but now I don't mind it that much. I just miss being able to say "kk" and "f add" in party chat. :/

Yea. I think that if a rant starts up, the staff should look at it, see what they can do, and make an official announcement.

I highly sure they would not return to the old chat tbh I would like if they did but ya know....

If they dont want to downgrade the chat, then I think they should make a global announcement and it would last 24 hours and would happen every 1 hour it would pop up in the chat or they could announce it in the forums/discord

Hi there!

You many not have heard of me much, but I am one of the developers working on some new content for you guys.

The recent chat filter change has been a debated topic ever since it was introduced. As it stands right now with being a Microsoft and Xbox partner we are required to follow certain guidelines in regards to specific functions in the server to make the server be accessible to all ages.

We understand that you may feel frustrated that you no longer have the freedom to express things as you did before, but unfortunately in situations like this, our hands are tied.

Both us and Microsoft want everyone of all ages to be able to have an enjoyable experience and this is one of the small ways we have to adjust for that.

I do hope you understand why this change was made and why it won’t be getting changed back anytime soon.
