I'm a bedrock player, I specialise in Teams of 2 Eggwars but I play solo and TO4 occasionally. I'd like to talk about cheating and I want to know what the communities take on it is.

I find that there isn't very many cheaters on Eggwars when compared to Skywars and Survival Games but there is a few.
The most common hack I see is Scaffold or Flying. This may be rushing mid to get diamonds or flying to bases and destroying eggs.

Of all game modes, Eggwars have more passive hackers who will play "scared" and not push aggressively. Hackers tend to be easier to beat in this mode (personal opinion).

I have a question to the community. What do you think CubeCraft can do to reduce the amount of hackers AND do you think that CubeCraft is doing a good job of preventing hackers?

I made the post to make the issue more apparent. I have more unlisted videos of cheaters using clients than I do normal public videos. Cheating is a major issue in the server, I experience a cheater 1 in every 4 games in all game modes. If they are searching for an anti-cheat developer then why don't they actively look for one, better yet, why don't they just get a plugin. As for the fact they are looking for more staff, I have applied on multiple occasions with constant activity on the server and elsewhere and still been told no. I report at least 2 people for every 2-hour session. It is a bit of a joke. The post was made in an attempt to shed some light on the severity of the issue. A simple way in which the server can deter people from cheating is by being more public about ban lengths. I find that servers that show the ban lengths tend to deter people from cheating on the server more than ones that do not. I've been playing Minecraft servers for a long time and of all servers, this is my favourite and despite this, It is a server (from my personal experiences) that suffers from cheating the worst.

Why throwing something away you’ve been working on for the past 3 years? Yes I know bedrock hasnt had an anti cheat for the past 3 years, but if we would throw it away on bedrock then we would also have to do the same with java.
It is a server (from my personal experiences) that suffers from cheating the worst.
We actually sometimes kinda take it as a compliment. Over the years we have had consistent groups of cheaters attacking our anti cheat and server. We know that our anti-cheat is bad right now due to nobody working on it. But for some reason cheat developers are focussing on bypassing our anti cheat and that has been like this for years. I image someone wouldn’t think it’s worth the time if the bypass is easy and their players wouldn’t demand a bypass for that specific server. Now this ofcourse doesn’t justify the fact that we have that many cheaters running around, but there’s nothing more we can do until we have found the right developer for this job.

Honestly I really do love egg wars. It's my favorite mini game but the cubecraft servers have a lot of glaring issues. The reporting system is terrible, the anti cheat is terrible and literally useless. I encounter at least one hacker on every session I play. I usually play for a couple of hours each session and I play multiple sessions a day. But it's really pissing me off that in every session I encounter at least one hacker. And if you go on YouTube to see the reports on cube craft eggwars. There are no reports but people showing you how to hack. And Cubecraft does nothing about it.

Before I start with the reply, Thanks for actually looking at the post. I was hoping a real admin would respond to it.

So my first question is why does Bedrock not have an anti-cheat? CubeCraft is often the most played server at any one time when I go to start my sessions yet it has the worst hacker situation than the others available. Furthermore, If the anti-cheat is essentially non-existent then there would be no harm with removing it and implementing a plug-in available online.

Another thing is that you acknowledge that your anti-cheat is not up to par. I would presume this would be at the top of priorities to do with the server. Looking for developers to take up the task should be as high of a priority as it can be.


Now I'm not trying to trash on the server, I'm just another user who wants to see the server thrive better and the cheater situation is preventing that. I thoroughly enjoy playing on CubeCraft but the vast amounts of cheaters has become a source of frustration when playing the game. I feel there should be clearer communication between the staff team and its users as to the next steps for the server (I have searched and been unsuccessful in finding one)
