Well of course. Ice towers aren't damage dealers -- they're support towers! They give your towers more time to shoot, effectively increasing the effectiveness of other towers.

I said turret towers aren't the worst depending on how you measure
If you measure in damage no they aren't
If you measure in speed maybe they are not sure how fast necromancer towers at level 1 are

But you can't compare the two. You're comparing a damage dealing tower to a support one. It's like comparing apples and oranges -- two completely different things. You also have to take into account the cost-effectiveness of the tower. That is, take the damage divided by the cost. Consider the following below:

A turret is equal to 1.5 archers in terms of DPS when both are fully upgraded, but which costs more? 2100 for a turret level 3 or ~350 coins for 1.5 archers?

So in our example above, archers still deal more damage per cost than the turret. I don't know about necros but the description says the damage and range increase as level increases. You'll have to get a stopwatch and measure how much damage it deals (use healthtag mod).

I have made a theory about the poison tower which is it stacks!
While reading this thread please keep in mind it is a theory.

Why do I think this?
The poison tower uses poison potions to poison mobs. Meaning if you toss another poison potion on them the effect's 'wear off time' will reset. Of course there could be a condition that the second poison tower should be either the same level as the first one or a higher level to reset it's 'wear off time'.

But still if it was this case then it is still not very smart having them near each other but technically you still can.

What do you think about this theory?

A little 50/50 here. I understand your point, but there is a thing that is not logical....
About the level. Your point is correct, but why should we use more coins to build level I towers rather than level IV towers? In my opinion, it is just a waste of coins and spaces.

I never stated it was better, I just said it can technically stack but it isn't efficient.
But still if it was this case then it is still not very smart having them near each other but technically you still can.

The reason I made this Theory is because it was in the back of my mind ever since I started T.D but until I understood the poison tower more this theory seemed more and more true.
Remember this is a theory.
