Thread Locking

I think players should have to power to lock their own thread? Is that a bad idea?

What if they get positive feedback and as soon as it starts getting critical they lock it? Its a no for suggestions but a yes on every ither sub forum like EElse , Artwork , Games etc

Then it's their own loss. The thread won't get much attention after that because nobody can respond. I don't think it will help your suggestion if you do that after a few erplies. Currently your threads will get locked if you tag a moderator to do it so you could already get your own thread locked to avoid feedback. It's always annoying to get a notification for an old thread by someone asking for it to be locked.

Well put! You locking your own thread due you not being able to take criticism seems very counterintuitive.

Yes, that's a good idea!
Moderators would have less work!

They can do the same thing to request a lock from staff, only doing it themselves is faster.
