Web Threads suggestions.

Hey!

Let me start by saying that the forums are a really enjoyable place, and I love this to be honest. Since I started to share with you all my new suggestions I found out a new world.

Well, let's start with it:

First suggestion; add a "confirm message" button before posting a thread:

This would be a really nice suggestion to add since there's many players (including myself) that make a mistake while are creating a thread.

if you're a person who likes to create a thread from the phone, then you'll understand me.

So simply put, when you press "Post thread' you'll get a warning like "Confirm message: Are you sure you want to post the thread?".

Second suggestion; Add a faster way to post a thread:

This is actually a non-essential suggestion but would be nice if it get implemented though. As you may already know there's no currently way to create a suggestion at the forums without getting first into each sub-forums.

So my suggestion is adding it to the main forum page located just above of the staff list.

I love both of these! However, I think there should be an option to toggle them, as I know a lot of people probs won’t like this.

I guess you mean a general place to post threads? I really don't agree. A lot of threads will be posted in the wrong subforum as people will just select a random one. This will cause a lot of mess and work for moderators to move the threads to the correct subforums. Also I don't see a problem with the current system. It takes 2 seconds to find the right subforum.

I don't really like this idea either. I've personally never had this issue, but if people do have this sometimes, you can always edit the thread easily. A confirmation would mostly be annoying. Adding it to mobile only would be great, but I don't think that's possible with how the forums work.

Just a button like "Post thread" as appears in my thread image (into the spoiler). Won't be any concern about possible "wrong post" since there will be an option in which you can easily select the sub-forum in which you want to post.

But still it would motivate people to just click a random one, while selecting the subforum itself takes a little more effort which makes them think twice before chosing one. Also as I said, I don't see the need for it as it currently takes only a few seconds to access the right subforum.

Well I get this that this one is bit unnecessary so I'll not keep the topic about this one. But the other one, I think would be quite useful and perhaps would avoid to post threads accidentally. Although it has never happened to you before (as you mentioned) I can be sure that this is common mistake (even I get wrong when I'm making a thread) and it's almost more a mobile issue since you have to be touching the whole screen.

This wouldn't be any problem since this won't affect so much, it's more, it will probably avoid lots of accidental threads, as I said above.

Have to disagree with this one to be honest, I think make it toggleable would only make it more complicated and would be worse.

I don't know how this can affect other players since I'm suggesting a warn message before posting a message, just as if you would delete a profile post message.
