Is it possible to have the thread Creator be able to lock his/her thread whenever he wants only lock not unlock

if you want to lock your thread, just ask a staff member to do it

If think this is useful. It could save time for staff members if knowledgeable members know when they get their answer/or when they don't want anymore replies.

"staffs time" pls it only takes a second to lock threads
plus they only lock necro-posted threads, and usually they receive requests to lock specific threads by members on discord.

You don't have to wait until a staff member locks your thread!

My opinion is that both the thread creator and the staff should be able to lock your own threads, so yes, I agree with this idea.

Yeah, and to prevent necroposting, they could add a feature that threads where there has not been posted for 2 weeks automatically close.

I think it's useful, when staff members aren't online or are busy, you can just lock it yourself. :)
