(I'm fairly new to the forums so please my apologies if theres a specific format to this.) I've been a player on Cube Craft for roughly a year now if not more and I spend all my time on the Tower Defense gamemode. However out of all my time playing I can tell you the one and only problem with it. Players don't do the tutorial, nor do they use chat it seems. I can tell you first hand the most annoying thing ever is a player who places their towers wrong and don't seem to notice. They also have a reacurring trend of never using chat. This, for obvious reasons causes everyone who knows how to play properly mad. I can't even fatham the sheer amount of games lost do to players either taking up 2 or 4 3x3 spaces with a 3x3 tower (Or using one of the limited 5x5 spaces); Or do to them taking up 4 or 6 3x3 spaces with a 5x5 tower. I feel that the tutorial should be played the second you join Tower Defense for the first time and be unskippable (for those that just want to play and not learn). It should also focus highly on the placement of towers (to drill the information into their heads.). Sorry for the little rant, but a player who doesn't know how to play is truely, honestly a handicap to their entire team and an unfair advantage to the enemy team. Thank you for taking the time to read this and to possibly take it into consideration.

(One last thing; If I come across players missplacing towers I may screenshot it and upload it here. Only screenshots from my gameplay, and I'll figure out a way to post it so you won't assume I did it as 'evidence'.)

While I do agree with the forced tutorial idea, I think you're taking things way too competitively...It's a minigame, just enjoy playing it. Whether you win or lose whatever, you'll forget about it in a few seconds as you move on to the next game.

Miss placed towers is a big issue with this game since they took away the vote kick, this problem annoying players is not because they play competitively it's called tower defence for a reason defence is the clue here.

I can understand that point however winning doesn't even really matter at all (You get the same points regardless if you win or lose). What I was trying to get at however is I can just ignore it and move onto the next game, and someone new will do the same. A couple days ago (the last time I was online) I managed to get into 5 different games and all of them had one or more players who placed towers incorrectly. It doesn't bother me for the reason that I will lose, it bothers me that it truly ruins the fun of the game mode. Having a player who can't place towers correctly causes the team to be an easy target to a 'full rush' tactic. This tactic is when the other team sends massive amounts of op units our way. Since these players place towers incorrectly it severely limits the available space for towers. Plus a lot of the fun is being able to forge tactics and be competitive. Nearly all of the towers have specific roles that can be met if another specific tower is near it. Many of the people who play enjoy that strategy based thinking.

I meet a lot of people place towers incorrectly, maybe they're beginners at the game but CubeCraft should add a placement rule like we need them to place it correctly in the right place... I don't know if there's a rule for it but we really want it to be fixed

I have suggested directly to Management in the past that we should make the tutorial for Tower Defence mandatory for everyone on the first time they join without the option of skipping it. There has been numerous times where people ask in-game "How do I play?" because they either didn't know a tutorial existed or didn't bother to actually complete it. The idea of increasing the tutorial length or modifying it to include extra information on tower placement would also be beneficial in my opinion. I know that there would be those who hate sitting through a five minute tutorial, but it would probably do more good than harm overall.

- Escalated.

Yes, a tutorial would be so helpful for the new players.

My apologies for asking, but what exactly does the 'Escalated' tag mean? Does it mean it's a hot topic currently or that there's a lot of support for it? Or something else?

Hello! The "escalated" tag means this thread has been sent directly to the Management team for review to determine if it's going to be implemented. Though, while this tag does not mean for certain it will be added, the staff team is discussing the possibility. That's not to say threads without this tag aren't under consideration too, as every thread posted here is always being reviewed by the staff team to determine if it's a worthy addition or change. I, personally, support this suggestion which is why I decided to escalate the thread onto the Management team.
If you have additional questions, feel free to start a conversation with me here.

Oh thank you for taking the time to consider my suggestion. I'm glad to hear my suggestion has gotten as much support as it has been. I look forward to using this forum more often and becoming more of a frequent member to the community; And to seeing if my suggestion gets passed or not in the near/far future.

I wish my auto corrected tower suggestion went through. It would have stopped people from doing it, to begin with.
And it would still help if people do the tutorial and don't care.

They are hoping to do a tower vote off like a vote kick but with the tower.... when this will happen tho I have no idea, but it seems that if you have bought all the towers you are now unable to upgrade the towers others have placed if they haven't choose a path so not only do we have a miss placed towers issue we will now have low level towers everywhere that we can't do nothing about.

Maybe a bit of a dumb question, but do chat prefixes exist on Cubecraft Java like they do on Bedrock?
