Ive decided to withdraw from the server altogether and mostly on the forums
Ill still check in to respond to threads by me or to messages i get but i need a break
Why?
The bullcrap this servers produced since the fallout
Ever since the onslaught of hackers started the server has been in a downward spiral and still to this day i feel its not climbed back out of and tanked even more so with the partnership of cube with greedy microsofts regulations that they dont even follow themselves
My lack of usefulness
I dont feel helpful here anymore, more like a waste of space
Sentinel takes care of hackers and all other forms of support are blocked as restricted to staff only
Why dont you apply?
Well first im a bad luck charm with wings and legs i have very little hope id ever be staff
Other issues are due to financial constraints im having, i probably wouldnt get in solely for the this reason
Im also horrible at writing, so the form wouldnt be great either, time is not on my side either

All well and good but not only have i thought up everything i can think of and also on top of that most of my sugestions have gone dead very fast (the only one of mine added was the half health option in eggwars)
The lack of strategy
As mentioned in my 2017 review post one thing id love to see more of is strategy games everything except creative, tower defence, parkour and skyblock are all pvp, add some variety!
The failure of both procedures and the rules
What this referrs to is multiple issues
Consistency failure
Punishments were not very organized, while text on a page said one thing sentinel did another thing and staff did a third, so essentially punishments were very much randomized which isnt fair at all to either of those who were innocent or guilty of the accused breach
Swearing
This i dont understand at all why is this even a rule?
To fit in with microsoft regulations
That is a complete lie as the server was like this long before the better together software was even thought of
The server is to be kid friendly
Have you actually thought about this statement or even looked at your server? You say its kid friendly when in reality its not its cencorship galore, think about it, sonce its kid friendly itll attract more kids, so a good chunk of your server are kids less than 15 years old and who is doing most of the swearing and all that? Kids! Your trying to create an environment thats never survived on any level (from empires down to the household) and never will as yosemitie sam said, if ya cant beat em join em!

One thing ive noticed is this server is quickly becoming like Nintendo cencoring pretty much everything that could possibly bring more players to the server, as for other servers we shouldnt have to feel uncomfortable mentioning other servers names even when used to compare something because its not allowed, this does not mean im saying we should advertise other servers either
Camping and “asking for future dates”
These rules have been broken since day one and it bothers me that even after many revisions its still a maze to figure it out
Camping: even after two rewrites players still do not seem to understand where the line is drawn at, the same old example of inaccessibility even with the example is as clouded as dense fog, after reading this rule most players seem to assume that all forms of camping even forced are against the rules this rule needs to broken down more
“Ask for future updates”
This one isnt clear to the staff at all ive seen players and forum users get cited for this rule left and right when not actually breaking
But they asked about a closed game
Take a look at this rule closer, it says asking about future updates features and games is against the rules, all of these are asking WHEN but im talking about players asking WHY and WILL
Why was _ put into maintenance?
Will _ return?
Ive seen these get struck down before and i believe its unjust
But they broke the rule
No they didnt, when is future, why and will are past and present, asking why a game was taken out of service or if a game will return is not breaking the rule, they arent asking for updates they either want to know if it will return or why it was taken out in the first place, which neither is private knowledge that pretty much most of the community knows the answer already
I stand by my belief
Go ahead, but know that it utterly makes no sense to cite someone for something they didnt do
The projected image
Even if not the intention the server staff have ingrained an impression of the server in my head and this is what it shows
We are you cubecraft, we are the staff, we are always right, if ever wrong refer back to rule 1 but will make a deal if the issue becomes big enough, we create things for our players without their consent of what they want if its not from the suggestions section and overcomplicate things to the point of nothing making sense and everyone just rolls with it, we try to create an environment that never existed successfully and never will

The deadness of the server
Our server isnt dead we have over x amount of players a day
Think again, if you actually look at the popularity statistics your server is more dead than you think,
Blockwars overhaul- died fast
Eggwars overhaul- lasted about a month
Tower defence overhaul - lasted about a week
Map updates - lasted about a week
Uhc/blockband - died at release
Creative - lasted about 2 months
Chat overhaul and rules update: very unpopular
Maps: removing popular ones in favor of new ones
Suvival games update - also died fast
What im noticing is the lack of attention to detail on what is popular in the minecraft community itself, if you were paying attention skyblock wouldve been out a long time ago as its the popular game now, not uhc or creative, SKYBLOCK
Secrets in shadows
The staff here also seem evassive one does not simply need to be force sensitive to notice somethings awry
Since macs resignation the actions of the staff members is sending me red flags that they are hiding something that would hurt their “oh so precious reputation” im Sorry but your to sketchy for me
Im not trying to be offensive im sharing my point of view of where the server now stands for reasons above and for others i not listed and. Will not be mentioned im leaving for now ill see you all again soon
