Voting Fix

In my opinion, voting is one of the best features of a minigame server. But one problem that I have experienced many times on Cubecraft is a little glitch with the voting option. As you might know, the icon for the vote feature is basicly an empty map, but this causes a problem that at least of what I know, can't be fixed. When you head into a map as the game is starting, it will take a seccond to load in all the plugins and everything. The problem with this is that some times you might try to vote too early than what can accually happen is instead of it poping up the voting interface, it will acually create a map instead. I've never worked with plugins or anything like that before but I think this happens because the game will basicly does what is supposed to happen (that being right clicking on an empty map to create a filled one) before the plugin loads in telling the game to pop up the interface instead. This can be a very big problem as once the empty map changes to a filled one, it can't be reversed making it impossible to acually vote. Now you might be thinking that this should be on the bug reporting part of the forum, but I do think there is a way to fix this problem. As far as I know, it is not possible to fix the problem with the map, but I do think another way to fix the problem is to simply use a different item for the voting icon (preferably one that does not have an action when you right click it). It wouldn't be a problem to change it since after all, there are many items in Minecraft to chose from. For those reasons I think that this idea should be considered especialy when it can cross off another bug on the server making it even more user friendly.

Took me a minute to figure out you meant voting in the minigames rather than voting for the server. If you run into that issue which I have encountered a few times just do /leave while the countdown clock is still going on if you don't want to play with the default settings :)

I don't know plugins either so I have no idea if changing the item would work or not :)

I've encountered this problem a few times, but the developers may not prioritize it as there's a way to avoid it. You can simply wait a few seconds until the map has loaded, then vote. Also as mentioned above, you can always leave to join another game. But I do see your point, as the anticipation to vote would make you click too early not allowing you to vote (I've done that many times), so that could fix it, but I'm no expert on plugins

This has happened to me in Eggwars, I see it really annoying and hoping Developers can fix it.

This is due to lag on your side and not a CubeCraft issue. @zRinne has made a post a while back about countering it and possibly adding a /vote feature.

I run into this issue a lot. Sure its not that bad to join a new game, then what if the map you’re in you want but there isnt anymore then you have to wait longer, then that sucks. It is just nice to make things easy. So I agree that they should change it. Change it to a diamond, blaze powder/rod, ender portal fram, just anything but a map.
