So I honestly am troubled by the fact that any applications with people below 13 will instantly be denied. I had a discussion a week or two ago in game with a helper. I mentioned that I won't be a helper. He said why not. And I said I am to young. I just want to point out that, for staff, you need to be mature in thinking, and while a reasonable amount of people above 13 can think mature, some people below 13 can think mature too. I understand that not many people under 13 are mature, but... Some are. And those that are mature and under 13 are 100% avoided with that rule. I think that rule should be changed to where if you're under 13 the answer will be delayed so that staff can watch that player. Of course, the staff have real lives, so they can't monitor 24/7. But those that are under 13 should get a chance.

For anyone who think's that line of text is too big, here it is in short: Some people under 13 are mature and are avoided in applications for staff. That, I think, should be changed.

Some of the 13-year old children aren't that mature. What you said some are, and I agree. But if, and I say IF, they become Helper. They will think: 'I'm a staff member and I can do everything I want'.
But no. They think Helper is a big thing, wich sort of isn't. See helper as a proof period that staffs and other members can see how you can handle with the pressure and responsibility of being a Helper.

This is all I want ot say. :)

Hi! I was the helper you were taking to. I agree with most of what you said, regardless of age anyone could be immature but most younger people are found to be less mature then others and this could be a problem especially with the way they think, staff members need to put up with a lot, answer a lot of questions, and need to be professional in-game. You sound like a very mature person and I'm sorry that others have ruined this for you. Hopefully when you are old enough I will see you on the staff team! :)

Yes, you're right, some people under 13 are mature enough, but I don't think there are enough players mature enough under 13 for cubecraft to remove the limit. The lower age limit you have, the more applications you will receive, and there are already over 1.2k (that number was updated in January) applications. Around 25-30 people actually became a staff members after applying (I know there are more staff members, but a lot of them became a staff member before they first opened the applications or came from the chunk). If we say 30 people got accepted, it would be about 2%. The number of applications would probably be around 5 times higher if you removed the age limit, and the amount of accepted applications would probably be even lower than it is today, maybe 1%.
