There are many videos on youtube that show you step by step on how to build a pc
You can also make a specific type of PC (Gaming PC, Work PC, ETC)
Also almost all the parts can be found online in amazon , Ebay and any online stores that sell PC parts (Don't forget you can always go to nearly any shop that sells Spare Parts For Electronics)

I would say that the 2nd alternative is better (If you want a prebuilt computer). I wouldn't expect to be able to play any next gen games on max settings, though... 500$ is not enough for that :(

ok, thanks for the feedback. The only issue with the second pc is that I would have to upgrade it to windows 10.

The second option is better. It has an i5 Core for the CPU. It's not the best but it could do. Though you can always build your own computer.. If you want to run at excellent FPS, try looking for an i7 Core. Though it is going to be really expensive.

The CPU is not that important for gaming. Buying a better graphics card will improve the fps way more...

The second one is better. However, what is better than both is to build it yourself.

I just relized, in order to build a custom PC, it's going to take a lot of reaserch to do. You have took pick out the right processors, CPU, the CPU cooler, motherboard, etc.. Anyways, choosing the right parts for your computer can be stressful. Not to mention the price and some important rules when building a computer.. Though all that can be hard, it's worth it :D

Also, if you are planning to build a PC, I recommend you watch a YouTube video on how to build one. You don't have to buy that ring that prevents your computer from being damaged.. Just build it on a sturdy table, still works.. :p
