Why do armours break?

people noob think that they are in 1.8 in eggwars and they broke your armor
very fast and I hate that. I want unbreakable armors.

Unbreakable armour will make fights last FOREVER especially in OP mode. The whole point of OP mode if you get to iron and diamond armour is to break the enemys armour so you can kill them. If you don't want to die this way just buy multiple sets at the start, so once one set break you can switch it out with another.

The point of breakable armor is so you can't just buy 1 set of armor and be set the rest of the game. Breaking someone's armor and killing them is a strategy, it also means that someone has to think a little before they just run around attacking everyone.

I think only leather should be unbreakable. Unbreakable iron and diamond can be a little op.

You don't have to buy more amour ans fights will last forever.
I am really against this idea.

The main reason for Armour breaking so fast is due to the amount of times you get hit. If you think about it, there is no unbreaking. And leather Armour doesn't have much.

Unbreakable armor wouldn't make the game realistic to Vanilla Minecraft whatsoever. I know that it is a pain for armor to break but just buy a new set, or several sets. I am sorry but I think this suggestion should not become a thing.

The Reason Armor Breaks Is Because If Armor Did Not Break The Fights In OP Mode Will Never End. The Whole Reason Armor Breaks Is Too Make The Game Easier To Kill People.
I Never Would Like To Have Armor Non Breakable As It Makes The Game Way Less Enjoyable.

Basically if the final two people are not bow spammers, they have a chance of shortening the match down instead of taking like hours to finish a game or when one gives up.

Was half tempted to come on and just write "magic" and be done.
Breakable armor is annoying yet convenient. I wish leather was unbreakable, I'd be fine with that, and diamond armor being breakable is kind of a huge thing. If it gets to post-game in OP mode and I'm with friends, I usually start to spam attack with an axe (trust me I'm aware that's not how it works) just to break diamond armor faster. Someone with full enchanted diamond on OP mode, they're basically unkillable 'till you break 3/4's of their armor pieces.
