Hello! We are happy to see that you are interested in reporting players on our Java network! This thread will guide you on how to use our report website. If you already know how to use the report website, but are looking for guidelines and rules regarding player reports, please read this thread.
If you still have any questions regarding player reporting after reading this thread, don't hesitate to ask assistance from a member of staff on our Discord or in the support section on the forums.
The first thing you will have to do in order to create an account is to join the Java network and then type "/registerreports" in the Minecraft chat. A message will appear in your chat, click on the message and confirm that you want to open the link on your browser.
Report registration message
You will be redirected to the registration page of the report website. Fill in your email address and password carefully. Double-check your input before pressing register. If you filled in an old, invalid or an email address that you do not have access to, you will not be able to access your account and use features like a password reset. Also, make sure you use a strong password so only you will have access to your report account. More information about account security can be found in this thread.
Congratulations! You have successfully created a report account!
Did you encounter any issues during the process? Here are some solutions:
- If you receive an error message in your chat when you try to execute "/registerreports", please send an email to support@cubecraft.net. Make sure to clearly explain the issue in your email, don't forget to mention your Minecraft username. You could also provide a screenshot of your error message to receive the best support.
- If you can not click the link in your chat when you executed the "/registerreports" command. It's most likely you have Web Links disabled in your Minecraft chat settings. In order to enable this, press your ESC key on your keyboard, click "Options...", then go to "Chat Settings..." and set "Web Links" to "ON". You should be able to click on the link now.
If you got another issue that isn't listed above, be sure to ask for assistance from a member of staff on our Discord.
Alright, so you have created an account now, but how do you report a player?
In order to submit a report, you will have to click on the green button at the upper right corner of the page "+ New Java player report". Once you have clicked the green button, you will be sent to the report form which you have to fill in. I will explain what you have to fill in/select in every section.

Evidence
The evidence is (one of) the most important things in a report. So make sure you get proper evidence of the rulebreaker. If you don't know what type of evidence you need for what type of report, please read this thread first.
Language
For chat-related offences, the language to select is the language that the rulebreaker spoke in his messages. For reports with video evidence, if you are giving vocal comments in your video, the language to select is the language you, the reporter, are speaking in the report.
Username
The username is obviously an important part of your report, so make sure you fill in the right username, spelt correctly. Don't forget about underscores and double-check confusion between the symbols I, L, O and 0.
Extra Information
This is an optional field. If you would want the staff member that deals with your report to be aware of something when reviewing the report, make sure to write it here.
When you filled in all the fields, click the green "Submit report" button at the bottom of the page.
Amazing! You submitted your first report!
Did you encounter any issues during the process? Here are some solutions:
- If it says "Error! That user has never logged into the server." please double-check the usernames. Make sure that the I is an I and not an L or that the O is an O and not a 0. If it still gives you this error and you are sure that you filled in the name correctly, please contact a moderator to address the issue, they might be able to help you.
- If it says "Error! Please do not upload old evidence." please make sure your evidence is not older than 14 days. If your evidence is older than 14 days, we will not accept your report. More information about evidence can be found in this thread.
- If you can not submit your report because your video is too long, please make sure your video isn't longer than five minutes. If it's longer than five minutes, you will have to shorten your video and try again.
If you got another issue that isn't listed above, be sure to ask for assistance from a member of staff on our Discord.
Okay, so you created a report account and submitted your first report. What's next?
After you submitted your report a member of the staff team will take a look at your report as soon as possible. Sometimes it could take a while until your report gets handled. This could be due to the language you selected or due to the number of reports submitted on that day. But don't worry, reports get handled in chronological order, so your report won't be forgotten! When a staff member handles your report, they can either choose to accept or deny your report. The status of the report will then change to Handled or Closed.
Report dashboard with an open report
Handled
Congratulations, your report was accepted!
This means that the staff member accepted your report and the rulebreaker(s) have been dealt with accordingly. If you click on the username of the reported player, you will be able to read the message from the staff member. If you want to know what punishment has been applied to the reported player, you can look them up on the appeals site. If you don't see any active punishments, it's most likely that the player has been given a warning, which is not visible on the appeal site (Name bans are also not visible on the appeal site).
Closed
Uh oh... your report was denied.
This means that the staff member denied your report. This could be caused by a number of reasons, which go from the player being innocent, or the player has already been punished to the evidence being insufficient. By clicking on the username of the reported player, you will be able to read the message from the staff member which will also include a reason for why your report was denied. If the reason for denial is unclear, or you do not agree with your report being denied, it's recommended to contact the staff member who denied your report. This should happen in a calm, polite and mature manner. If you do not know how to contact a staff member, please read this article. Whenever one of your reports gets denied, make sure to understand the reasoning behind it. This will most likely prevent your future reports from being denied due to invalidity.
