As an active forum member, the only thing that drives me insane more than dealing with "ender pearls in normal mode" threads, is the posting cool down.
I understand that it's to prevent spam, but can't there be a system where members can be flagged as "Active member" so they can bypass it to a degree? 1 minute is quite a cool down to post, especially when going through notifications.

What I suggest is the following:
Add something so active members don't have to wait as long.
Examples:
User must have X amount of messages
User must have a minimum of X days/weeks/months on the forums
User must be checked as "Active" by a staff member (Possibly Senior mod+)

This system could also add more room for features to active people on the forums, like being able to send a lock request notification or something, maybe even beta-testing. (I'm just listing something that popped up, it's not really part of what I'm suggesting)

I liked Hangar's idea of completing a captcha to bypass the cooldown but it was denied sadly :( Since I don't spam nearly as much as I used to I don't encounter this much but I would still like members with enough trophy points or whatever to bypass this in some way :P

It's so annoying when you make a grammar mistake in profile posts, and have to wait 60 seconds to adjust it.
