Java You should be able to break wool in ‘nerd pole to the platform’

Hi everyone! I just played some games of Minerware and I noticed something on the game ‘nerd pole to the platform’.


In normal mode you aren’t able to remove the wool so if someone builds around the chest with wool you aren’t able to remove it so you have to run to another chest causing you to lose the game. People say you have to be fast but that’s the whole point, because you spawn randomly you have to be lucky to spawn near a chest.


You can say it’s a tactic but I think it’s annoying because it’s based on luck only. I’ve heard many people and even moderators who consider this as trolling but I’m not sure.


My suggestion is that you need to be able to remove wool around the chest. In Hard mode it is even possible to remove sand so why not in Normal mode? I would like to know what you guys think!

I'll give you some reasons why I voted 'no'.

You don't actually spawn randomly unless you're standing in one of these corners, afaik. If you're standing right on the block I'm standing on in the screenshot, you're usually able to grab the blocks in the chest really quick, since you do not get teleported somewhere random. It's just a tip, but I'd advise you to make use of it if you're annoyed by the players blocking the chest.

It is in fact a tactic, like you said. It really isn't luck based. It's about knowledge of the game. I always get the blocks because I use the trick I mentioned before. It's easy to know about and use, so why not? Like I said before, it's one tactic to play the game. I feel like this shouldn't get removed just because it may annoy others. You use the strategy/tactic to block players from grabbing the items in the chest. It's the same with killing lots of players by shooting them off with snowballs; It annoys them, but the snowballs are there to be thrown ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

It has not been resolved. You cannot place a block on top of the chest directly, but you can place blocks on the barriers, still blocking the chest.

I think it is some kind of "tactic" to block the chests, it is same as rushing at the beginning if the EggWars etc. I think it should remain the same.
