Is Zan's Minimap and Optifine allowed?

I know optifine is allowed. I'm unsure about mini maps because they can show player locations and other things that could be exploitable.

As far as i'm concerned OptiFine is allowed but Minimaps count as cheats as they show player locations.

but what about when it shows players on the map. That is an unfair advantage for sg players, kitpvp players and assassination players.
