On the forums, if a thread has no responses for 2 weeks, it should auto lock. You can still view it, but just not react or comment/reply

I like your idea. I think it would be quite good for people who are a bit "clueless". But on the other hand I think they should be aware of these things.

Simply automatically 'locking' a thread would solve the problem of necroposting. Although I think lots of wannabes are gonna disagree because they will lose their easy reports
