Java Change the daily challenge/settings menu as it was before

Ohai!

The title says it all, there was no need to change this and it's rather annoying than helpful. Okay so I don't know the reason why this has been changed, but if it was due to the odd amount of inventory items you'd have when having a "shop" book, then put that one in the middle and we're all good to go.

If there was a good reason however drop it down below, I just don't get it then..

EDIT: So a lot of people actually do like it for some reason so I came up with this solution, which is now the suggestion itself: Make a new setting, to make a shortcut to your hotbar. This would have a low priority when it comes down to coding, that's all.

I'm not really bothered by that to be honest. You just have to click one more item, not that big of a deal.

For players who plkayed before this update (like 95% or so) are having a hard time to deal with this, although not all of them but they'd appreciate the reset. It's not that big of a deal I'll give you that, but I and a lot of others prefer the old thing.

Everybody uses that argument nowadays, the "we liked the previous thing", the same was said about the Skywars update when it first came out, everybody said it was a stolen version and it wasn't as good as the previous Skywars, and now, everybody's used to playing it and I haven't heard anyone complain in months! The same will be with this, even with this being as small as an ant, you need to get used to things, and not just straight up think the old was better, even though that might be the case.

I get your point, but it's just that extra effort you'd put into finding this, and it's kind a useless. The SkyWars update was to make people happy, making more updates as that's kind of a requirement. This however was a useless update, unnecessary and just stupid imo. So if this is so small as an ant, and people complain about it, it shouldn't be a big deal to get this back right?

For achievements it kind of makes sense to be under the 'profile' tab. Kinda sucks that daily challanges are connected to that, but I think it's not that big of a deal.

It took me 3 hours to set players visibility to only friends :D
I don't like it, but I guess we'll have to get used to it

It'll probably take everyone about a week or two max. to get used to it. I have no idea why they changed it, but I also don't have a reason to why they should change it back.

I don't like the skywars update. There you have someone complaining. Can they change the daily settings menu back now?

Bumping this, I still find it useless so changing it back seems better to me. If anyone would like to give their opinion on this go ahead. I'm not adding a poll, I'm not looking for "Yes" or "No"'s I am looking answers with arguments and opinions.

It took me less than 5 seconds to find the settings menu. If you use common sense then you should know it is in your profile menu. They wouldn’t add it in the server/lobby selector or vanity, don’t you think?

This was something that needed to happen, not only does it make sense to have all your personal settings living inside of profile, but it frees up space on the hotbar. I could actually see valid arguments to move the vanity menu inside profile as well eventually. I appreciate that UI change like this is very jarring and feels awkward initially, ultimately though I think that this is the type of thing that will quickly become a non issue as you get used to the new layout.

Well I have a solution that benefits us all.

Why not make a new setting, one to have a shortcut in your inventory? You can put this on and off whenever you'd like and everyone's happy. Sounds good to me, what about you?
