I don't know. I have never made a texture pack ( or tried ) Perhaps you can collect some ideas and brainstorm them, asking people that has made one could be quite useful.

Good luck with the texture pack your working on! My suggestion would be to have "cool" swords and low fire, because certain texture pack's "fire" thing is very annoying since it covers up half of the screen, which is the worst when your PVPing people. Also, not to have it too "weird" Make it...

Besides from that, you know how fast the chat can go at times and if people put some "rainbow" coloured words in it ( and keep doing it ), it can get annoying and confusing. Especially when your finding for example a message by another player.

Perhaps explain why too? I agree with Milkyboo, it would make things more "messier" and it can get really confusing when reading chat. So I'm sticking to a -1 Thanks for suggesting though!

No, There is a reason why there is message counter, and the rule for message farming not to be allowed on the forums. The last suggestion I do agree, to make the rule ( message farming ) stronger, I mean, honestly I don' think the "warning" is as affect as a punishment. Please do not swear here
