We're always working on improving our latency to players. We do have some servers in a datacenter in the US, currently they are only helping a little bit and should not be making a significant difference to the latency you see. We'll likely post in the updates section when that changes. :)

US Servers will soon be a thing, as mentioned above by others, we do have quite a long to-do list, so it may take some time to complete all of it and get to the release stages.
