Yeah that'd be good actually, it's more of a thing where they're overpowered mid combat where you can just hold down right click and keep getting regen and absorption. So maybe whilst in combat you do not receive the full benefit of a golden apple.

Like the title says, kits stage with item types. So some kits should have more/less depending on if its hardcore, normal or overpowered. Sorry I didn't make that clear

Very simple suggestion but one that would make a big difference. Right now some kits are completely useless in certain item types, like egg armour in OP, or the diorite kit in OP, and egg armour is way too good for hardcore.
